#NBCNews #Plane #CloseCall
People are more and more incompetent every day and that includes air traffic controllers. You can thank feminism. 😉👍🤷♂️
Lol what?
Those close calls are only the ones that got reported. At a House hearing last week, Acting FAA Administrator Nolen aid that he agrees with the new Biden FAA priorities of climate change, equity (“hate whitey) and carbon credits (scam green credits). Nolen will say anything to remove that “Acting” from his job title.
NTSB isn’t that PeterButt’s responsibility? Planes, trains and automobile bridges failing pete. sup?
Actually, no. The NTSB is not under the Department of Transportation. They are an independent agency.
@He who has no identitydid you read what @punapeter wrote 😂.
How does this happen in the most technologically advanced country in the world? Such a bad look.
You should see our equipment. Decades old.
@Nick G. no, i don’t believe that.
@Mao Dong uhhhh I’m a controller
Human error
@Nick G.just imagine if this guy knew about sectors that utilize non radar still…. Paper strips, grease pencils on maps, and mental math to separate planes not visible to the controller on any radar screen haha
what’s up with these airport accidents
Diversity hiring.
🙁 My overactive mind?
Accidents require collision. These are categorized as incidents.
Were under attack, wake up
Jesus christ. Its definitely not rocket science. Figure it out
*This is happening way too many times for comfort, safety, and security. Way too many close calls. Overseeing and re-educating, one of the other if not both needs to happen immediately before there is a liability situation beyond anyone’s wants or “control.” As businesses I’m sure nobody wants to have to release comments, press information, or be subject to paying out the multiple involved if God forbid something drastic or awful would take place and even the fines that may accompany such a situation. It is best to step in to get to the root of what is or may be going on, on a minute scale as opposed to a grand or extreme one. Is it lack of sleep and adequate relief for those employed? Lack of taking a position or title seriously by those employed? If it has taken place with “your” airplane, airplane company, or take off station or not. Re-running or combing through protocols and safety and test measurements should happen and take place now and happen quarterly if not annually. Heed or not; everything is always a choice. 💯🙏🏾👁️✨*
Could the tower commands have caused the accident in the Dallas airshow last year? These things are indicating the weakness in the system that is under stress. And we all know how difficult the air trafic control job is now. We’re susceptable to emotional stress.
Maybe mandatory vaccination that causes widespread mental and physical health problems wasn’t such a good idea eh?
This is what happens when you’re more concerned about diversity hiring than you are with employing the most qualified candidates.
It’s probably happened more than we know about.
Yeah, that means it’s due!!
And that’s why I don’t fly anymore! 🤔
People also choke. I guess you shouldn’t eat anymore.
You’re more likely to be hit by a car. Guess you shouldn’t walk outside anymore.
Spread your wings!
Call Biden and see what’s going on? Oh wait. He just had his ice cream cone and is asleep now. Try again in the morning around 10am when Jill wakes him up for brunch. Pathetic!
At his age he still doesn’t get a decent retirement!
Mayer pete buttsex has got a handle on this.
Let’s all be at least thankful this isn’t a fatal report
Where’s pot hole pete
You cleared terrorists to fly
everyone got used to working from home during covid and dont want to work anymore now
Maybe they’ve gotten stuck in their armchairs from working on Zoom calls and overeating? Walking around with an armchair stuck to the backside would be embarrassing…
Stop so much cost-cutting and investing in technology and short cuts, and start investing in the controllers and pilots who make the skies safe – training, adequate salaries, correct working conditions. The profit motive is getting way out of hand!
Let’s not make ATC work long hours, and understaffed. Make the FAA pay for this. It is their policies for ATC. We will hold FAA responsible for these money saving policies to profit the airlines more.
Slow days for news outlets lately. These things have been happening regularly for decades and only those of us in the industry were aware of it. Doesn’t mean it’s ok, but you’re still 65x more likely to die driving to your destination than flying. So, chill out people and quit taking the sensationalism bait.
You’ve never heard of the Tenerife airport disaster then.
@Boss Hog I’ve heard of that one and many more ad-nauseam in my 20+ year flying career. Spare me the what aboutism. You can’t compare the aviation safety record today with the one we had prior to the 2000s.
@Boss Hogyou’re talking out of your league my guy. My job is to review air traffic safety events for patterns. This is 100% news pumping up the drama and sensationalizing the hot topic in their cycle.
Again
This is all the result of the vaccine mandates causing a pilot shortage which in turn caused the FAA to lower the standards for Pilots to hire enough pilots. Many qualified Pilots are now unable to fly due to heart damage from the vaccine. Many other pilots who refused the vaccine have been fired. America’s airlines are in grave danger now with unqualified Pilots in the cockpits.
cari duit beribu ribu kena tipu dengan imam mahdi palsu juga rupa nya.
1:26 aaaannnnndddd you just jinxed it.
4th close call? It’s only February.
To busy making or thinking about tic tok
What in the heck is going on with air traffic controllers? Did they retire all the experienced ones and hire new people? Seems they need more training.
We need not forget the amount of flights, the sheer traffic going in and out of our airports, If you really think about it, its a wonder such incidents don’t happen more often. Heck, it a wonder we dont see more crashes all together. just think about it, the tens of thousands of daily flights and at best you may have a light aircraft doing an emergency landing or a commercial flight doing another pass for landing. it is the safest means of travel by far.
Exactly. 10 million flights per year (and that’s only passenger flights).
I think ATC got the flight numbers of 5326 and 5826 mixed up because they look similar?
Air Traffic Controllers are overworked and underpaid!
COVID? I know I left the aviation maintenance role.since COVID. We always take the brunt of any issue happening around the world and pilots and ATC feel the same. Alot of the skills in aviation left during that two year period and have not looked back. What’s left is undertrained and over worked. These kind of instances will continue to rise for many years to come unfortunately
All of these personnel were forced to take experimental drugs to keep their jobs.
More like complacency. Most controllers are amazing. But complacency is an issue in my opinion and it needs to be thwarted by senior controllers.
This USED to be a rare event, now it became a FREQUENT issue. What is going on, really?
It’s not really rare. If you knew how many near misses happen every year it would make people go crazy lol
At hiring inept people.
i was fueling a king air and watched this happen at burbank 😭 my booty hole was puckered for them
They do a great job, but sometimes small safety tweeks can avoid disaster.
10 million flights per year in the US.
Coordination.
And the Democrats keep calling for equity, equality, diversity, forget qualifications , just keep employing black and brown
The last fatal death in involving a u.s. major carrier was actually Southwest maybr 6 years ago. It broke broken fan blade in flight which broken window in flight, killing one.
😎
A call to safety. Boy I feel so much better.
Yeah, maybe because were understaffed and overworked lol.
