In this day and age you have access to all sorts of information but when it comes to trading you need a place where you can find everything in seconds and focus your actions during the trading day. Prioritising this can be the difference between success and failure.
Checking your open positions regularly and determining your actions accordingly is first and foremost on every trader’s agenda. Second comes being up to date with what economic events might influence your open positions and cause volatility. These events can make you open and close positions, so consulting the built-in calendar in Trading 212 is a must. Getting a feel for what traders are saying and doing is also part of the puzzle. But unspecialised social media can be distracting and that’s why Trading 212 has integrated a social app called Tradebird. It’s a dedicated community focused solely on connecting traders with each other and the markets.
At Trading 212 we provide an execution only service. This video should not be construed as investment advice. Investments can fall and rise. Capital at risk. CFDs are higher risk because of leverage.

When closing a trade does this action automatically redeem your profits, if there are any? Cheers.
Hi, Richard. Once you close a trade, its result is applied to your trading account balance.
Trading 212 one more question please. Is there anywhere you can recommend learning how to trade professionally or is it just a case of learning via tutorials etc??

The colour changes of tracked trades is useless. It offers no information in relation to the stock value. Only that’s its moved up or down at that instance. There should be an option to display position in relation to opening value.
Hi there. Should you like to order your open positions in relation to the opening price, you can do so by using the web app at http://www.trading212.com.
great explanation, thank you so much
You are welcome, Naser. Watch this space for more from Trading 212.
Just wondering if you hold onto a stock what happens. Why would someone buy them. And what does for example 48.956 mean is that price per 1 share

Please add the live charts in the app
Hi, Vishwajith. Rest assured, Trading 212’s advanced charts are available across all apps on mobile and web.
I want to buy a World Atlast like that. Is it on Amazon? lol Oh yea excellent video!
I just love your concise explanations, they are helping me a lot so keep up the good work hey!!
why there are no penny stocks 😢 in trading 212
Hi Riad, CFDs for stocks of such companies happen to be very risky trading wise. This is the reason they are avoided in Trading 212.
@trading212 pleas make your platform work with mt4 application 😿
We’re a separate platform and we have our own apps:
Android – https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.avuscapital.trading212&hl=en
Apple – https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/trading-212/id566325832?mt=8
I love your videos but that platform you’re pushing is awful. The UI is way too stylized and minimalistic, reminds me of the microsoft windows metro UI, and phone app looks even worse. Also I don’t like how things are hidden in sub-menus, rather than being directly available on screen. Maybe it’s just me but thought I’d share some criticism, like I said I’m a big fan of your videos, but I won’t be using the Trading212 platform anytime soon.
About the web version – probably yes. But what you’re saying about the app doesn’t make much sense. The whole idea there is to cram quite a lot of stuff into an extremely small amount of space and still get to it with one or two taps. I’ve tried many apps and in terms of usability it’s one of the best (if not the best).
I do get where you’re coming from though, I too like to have the controls nearby 🙂
When day trading or swing trading, what is the best investment vehicle you use for tax efficiency purposes? I can imagine someone swing trading 10-20 times a month can take quite a hit for taxes. What’s the best account to balance out the capital gains taxes? Thank you, big fan! 👏🏼
Hi Nicholas, please contact the relevant taxation office for any tax related matters.
Can you post a video of the current app, how to place and take out trades?
Thanks for your suggestion, Moby. Much appreciated.
