your posts are really helpful and encouraging! you say you suggest people invest in a course or something to help them start off but what if you’re young (24) and relatively broke and cant afford the classes!?
+wolfthing I was in the exact similar position and many others have, and that’s never stopped us. If broke, then get a job, make some money, live below your means, save the money and then invest it in training and education to change your financial situation. Work more hours if you need to, on weekends, get a part-time job, work at a temp agency, be resourceful.
i guess my question wasn’t clear, but i was more so asking whether or not it is truly necessary to take a class as oppose to doing research online. some people suggest that it is, while others say they have been just as successful without ebooks or courses.
+wolfthing A course or training will save you hundreds or thousands of hours trying to research and figure things out on your own. If you do the math, how much is your time worth? If you can buy something for less than $100 that will save you hundreds of hours, then you’re actually saving yourself a lot of money. All successful people I know do this – they learn from others, rather than trying to find out on Google searches and figure things out on their own. That’s just a way to remain broke.
