@Suvidha kannaya you need to do more than just this excersize to reduce back fat. Losing weight is all about consistency. Keep in a coloric deficit and do HIIT training at least 3-4 times weekly, and within 2 weeks you will notice differences, but to really maintain it, it is a constant work in progress.

Eating healthy, no fry food, less carbs, lots of water. Exercise, walk. Don’t sit too much. Move around while watching TV

@BrandonSG13 Well, sometimes a low carb diet helps you more. Carbohydrates are the main source of energy in our body, and fat is energy storage. If you cut out or lower carbs, your body is forced to use the fat storage. My stepmom uses a low carb diet and has lost a lot of weight, even with no exercise! Of course, no carbs DOES NOT mean no food. You have to eat proper nourishment
@CAT you lose weight with a low carb diet because you’re not eating an entire food group which results in way less calories. That’s literally all there is to it. You can lose weight eating whatever you want. As long as it’s less calories. You can gain weight without eating carbs too. If you eat more calories
@BrandonSG13 No, that isn’t all there is too it. Like I said, carbohydrates are your main source of energy when it comes to your food. If you replace your carbohydrates with other sources of nutrition, if you keep the same amount calories, your body will use the fat storage in your body as energy instead of carbohydrates. It isn’t a calorie deficit, it is REPLACING your main energy source with healthy foods that will still provide you the nutrition you need.
When we are not consuming the proper amount of energy, our body will go into a sort of “survival mode.” Cutting calories is counterproductive because of this. What happens is when your body thinks it’s not getting food at a steady and sustainable pace, it will begin to hold on to as much energy as it possibly can to prolong your life. Your body can not function without energy. Fat is energy storage, as we know. However, our body actually uses fat storage as a last resort. It will first use up food it does get, then muscle (since we don’t exactly need a ton of muscle to survive, this can also significantly weaken your heart), and THEN fat. Fat also provides insulation, which is crucial to maintain your body temperature.
Starving yourself or significantly decreasing your calorie intake will not work. You will not lose weight in a healthy matter, nor will you keep the weight off. Your muscles, your heart, and your entire body will weaken and deteriorate.
This is why a low-carb diet works, because you’re NOT decreasing your amount of nutrition which is crucial for survival. You are NOT hungry or starving. You ARE forcing your body to use up the fat storage, but it won’t use up your muscle because you’re still getting the nutrients you need to maintain muscle.
My stepmom doesn’t eat any less than she did when she wasn’t on a low carb diet, and she has lost a ton of weight. She is not hungry, she feels good.
@CAT you’re just wrong. Your body uses fay storage as energy if you don’t have enough calories. As I said before, you can gain weight without eating carbs. Carbs give you energy as in you’ll feel more energized and perform better if working out, but calories is what your body literally uses for fuel. You can eat carbs or not eat carbs, you need to cut calories to lose fat. And you’re not gonna be unhealthy from losing fat unless you’re in the single digits of body fat percentage which like 0.1% of the population is. Having 12%-18% is very healthy. I’ve been working out for a year and I’m sure I know what I’m talking about. I’ve lost weight while eating carbs. It’s literally just science. Cutting calories is how you lose weight. Idk if you want to believe otherwise cause you want to lose weight and still eat a lot, but that’s not how it works at all

That simple exercise PLUS calorie deficit, regular cardio, aerobic exercises, commitment, time and patience.
You could even get the same results following the above, without that simple exercise.
After looking at her body and knowing she’s so fit and exercises a lot she still has hip dips which confirms I’ll never get rid of my hip dips no matter what I do in exercises
I don’t think you can get rid of them but there’s exercises that you can do to reduce hip dips
