Amazing how many people have forgotten about all the past flooding in the biggest river system in North America!
the south is majority bible population… that is a sign God is hurting these christians for being fake and lying
Mississippi river flooding has been a problem for many years; the blues song “When the Levee Breaks” was written about massive flood in 1927.
God’s punishment for conservatism.
Bruh 🤨🤔
Think Mississippi gonna need that communist federal government help
The populace keeps voting against their own best interests as the water rises and they double down on Fox News telling them the real problem is trans people. Rebuild on stilts, I guess. Oh well.

Can’t be true Abbott and DeSantis don’t believe in Climate Change 🤪🤡 GQP
And where are the army core of engineers?
FAKE NEWS
So I’m going to wear waders and speak to the community about weather com on man!
1st it was little of water now it’s too much water..
I took a trip down the Mississippi River from St. Paul to New Orleans on a paddle wheel in October/November 2022 when the Mighty Mo was at a historical low. It was a big challenge for the crew and some ports had to be bypassed because it was just too low. At our Memphis stop, we had to dock down river and be bussed to Memphis. While quite upsetting for me and my fellow passengers, it was a headache for the barges not being able to go up/down river. All in all, it was a fascinating river cruise but somewhat disappointing because of the low levels.
How long did it take you to finish the trip?
What did that cost you? I plan on taking the Zephyr line out west one day and that would be a great trip to take as well
@henray Thank you for your interest. It took two weeks. At one point between Vicksburg and Natchez we had to dock while the river was being dredged for 24 hours. It was frustrating as it cut into our offshore excursion in Natchez.
@Green Koopa thank you for your interest. Because I was with two friends, there were three of us so I ended up having to pay a single supplement. There are at least three ways to do the Mississippi River cruise: full length of the river (I did this one) and two halves, one from St.Paul to I believe, St. Louis and one from Memphis to New Orleans. We used American Cruise so look it up for the cost. I would think the Zephyr would be less money and taking it to the west sounds fun. I live on the west coast.
Isn’t that dangerous for Maggie to be in that water?
My God what is going on in this world
Maggie getcho behind out of the water nih!
This is what happens when building structures in dry river beds. It’s the lowest land in the area!
Climate change! admit it! Maga
Wait, i just watched a few videos about how the earth is running out of water. Get your stories straight.
Weather manipulation. The nephilim control the weather.
wait, at 0:32 did they post a picture of a flooded field with the irrigation system running? That’s on the dumb farmer, not the weather.
The pressure from the flooding will do that on its own. Do people really think an electric motor or gas or diesel engine is running in that situation ?
Send some to lake powel
Welt gibts 😈 unsere welt schadet 😢gott will welt.reinigen von 😈 böse 😮Jesus mehdi rettet menchheit 😅😂❤amin 😊
Last I heard 5he Mississippi was at historic lows.
talk about polar opposites….just a few months ago you had droughts that made ships bottom out – now this
Happens alot wonder what NBC is not reporting on hmm
Jesus Christ is coming soon to rapture His church ❤
Ummmm isn’t the river contaminated by the Monticello leak.
Gotta love the mighty Mississippi River. I live 3 blocks from it.. Time to go fishing
More reservoirs.
We’re all gunna flood the world is
Wow. Sounds like spring in America.
Why is that poor lady standing in waste high water.
All the houses from 120 years ago were built two story with ALL the living space on the top floor. Grandparents would move everything upstairs for the annual flood and live upstairs until the water receeded…. this isn’t new… this is old and was the norm.
Mark Twain said, “The Mississippi knows her banks.”
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Republicans are getting crushed by extreme weather due to global warming and the morons still denying reality
Ahhhhh, when you build in a flood zone.
To bad America is out of Money to help … They only have money for bombs .. They don’t actually help their own people..
Wanna tell me how climate change isn’t a thing. 🙄💙🇺🇸🕊
Snowmelt. I thought global warming took away snow😂 clown 🤡 world
don’t go near the levies they will blame you for them failing and put you in prison for life.
It will surprise me if its true NBC has been like the rest of the media’s fake News dont know if their lieing or not?
They didn’t care enough about where they built because…. money. Come on. Haven’t you watched Poltergeist? 😂
Thing is, I’m only 2 miles from the levee and just 3 weeks ago the level was way low. I was looking at the markers….insane how high the water was at different times.
“One of Americas longest rivers”
*checks notes*
That seems only mostly true. It is the single longest
We need to get that water out west
Hopefully law makers houses are flooded with the people who work in Congress there
The rich don’t live in davenport anyways. They live in bettendorf or pleasant valley
@Rumpleforeskin you must not know about Mississippi and what they recently pulled. Because I’m sure not talking about Davenport Iowa. Caption reads cleary Mississippi flooding 🤔🤣
That river is probably been flooding for thousands of years when you build in a floodplain you have to anticipate flooding it should not be a shock to anyone
I thought the Mississippi river was drying up.
Work right next to the Mississippi River and water is low here
Mississippi river flooding and 2 train cars derailed into it.
Great.
But the real reason I commented is to spell Mississippi 😂😂😂
I did it twice.

It never amazes me how every year or so it seems rivers flood because of snow melt and rain and it is news.
You live next to a big river you get higher levels of water during snow melt and rain.
Our little town placed flood walls in 50+ years ago and has never flooded our downtown since then (though it did get close a few yours ago)
This is no phenomenon they’ve been talking about this happening since the 70s. This is called lack of planning and using cognitive dissonance in denial as business models and models for environmental control
Perhaps if more people prayed?
When our govt is seeding clouds with chemicals to cause different, and severe weather conditions will cause the detrimental food shortages.
Thank you GLOBAL WARMING!!!!
Remember the common green deal complaint: “but whos going to pay for it”?
The river hasn’t even reached its full crest yet. Supposed to hit that this coming week.
And yet there are still idiots denying climate change.
Jeez, I mean it’s not like there have been times in the past when rivers flooded. Anyone else getting sick of paying for southern states to get new stuff every few years?
We can make oil and chemical pipelines all over America. We cant implement a water diversion pipeline system that allows for the normal flooding that an eco system requires but diverts any excess to pumping stations, storage and diversion to arid communities?.Or even to other lakes that are below nornal water stages? How about to areas prone to wildfires or man made fires?
Historical. Unheard of never seen before. Except for the last dozen times 😆👍😆👍
Someday they will stop giving out building permits in flood zones with out the need to build up a hill higher then the high water mark.🤔
Global warming!!THEY SAY ITS A HOST..
That’s it! Plunk her in Chest waders in the flood water! You got to love it! This is why the Empire is failing!
It is comedy, gold seeing these reporters standing in their waiters with water up to their thigh
And THIS is why people shouldn’t build and live along rivers 🤪
Get some tanker trucks out there and start sucking up all the extra water and take it to where they need more water comen sence Lonnie ray
“Historic levels”…LoL give me a break. Have you never flew over the Mississippi River in a plane and seen the flood zone ? Apparently not. There are complete cities built in the flood plain. Gees people please.
Atleast now you have water to move the supply barges
The same river that was dried out just nine months ago.
Just like if you move to Florida, you should be prepared for hurricanes, if you live near a river, you should be prepared for flooding.
“Common” sense doesn’t seem so common anymore. People seem to be taken by surprise easier and easier nowadays.
Poor people, one minute, you don’t have enough water to “rock the boat,”, and now,its flooding cornfields and low lying towns,.. like California, first drought, drying lake’s and now, water and snow, every where
I would not be surprised if one day the entire Midwest of the US and Canada returned to the ocean as it once was.
Historic? It cycles like this every 27 years. This is right on schedule
You said it was drying up not long ago lol
My brother and sister-in-law live in Becker MN, my one Nephew and his family live in Roger’s Mn, my other Nephew and his family live in Plymouth MN. I also have Cousin’s in St Paul MN and Roseville Mn. I’m hoping and praying 🙏 everyone is all right.
George Carlin a prophet!!!
22 million…. Scare tactics
A chosen few knew it was coming, because everyone was warned long ago, and they moved out of the area of danger… Intelligence RULES!
I know, let’s buy some river front property then cry about the flooding.
get Maggie a swim suit.. Shake it girl…
Stone Age-Bronze age-Iron age-refugee,climate refufuckinggee age.
Well done fukwits and good luck with going extinct and all that ✌️
Well, last year, lakes in California were running dry the Mississippi river was running dry and now everything’s above flood level
The same river that was neared empty?
Please god let it only be the Caucasian 🙏 flood the wicked out
It’s like god is constantly punishing these people. There is something very ironic about the bible belt being the one that gets smashed the most
To bad its not funneled to the Colorado river
Hmm. I guess we’ll have to keep an eye on this in Louisiana.
Better work a bit harder on land & river management, live next to huge river, got to expect periodic flooding, no brainer!
Every time the river floods it’s called historic.
Wasn’t the Mississippi all dried up not too long ago?…talk about extremes?
And 2 months ago it was drying up. Pay attention
Dont live in a flood plane, duh.
What happens when businessmen become politicians? They only care about how much money they can get. Dont pay.
Weren’t they just complaining about it being dry? Well…..there you go.
No! Just a minute ago, the Mississippi was going dry. And we were all gonna die
