You are correct. Any large group assembling is having their phone QR codes turned to red so they cannot travel or pay for food. Protesters have been beaten & arrested.
I’m glad that NBC is covering this. But they’re accidentally pushing a false narrative of the CCP. It’s important to discuss China, but it belies the fact that certain highways in rural regions are being converted into internment camps that stretch out as far as the eye can see.
