Blinken was finally allowed to come to Beijing. First of all, the news released by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs is very interesting. Blinken’s visit to China is “After the agreement between China and the United States” rather than “at China’s invitation.” Its connotation means that Blinken himself wanted to come to China, not that China invited him to come.
