Gröna Lund amusment park will be closed for 7 days. To allow the investigation procedures to take place wo interference.
The same ride exicist in Gothenburg park Liseberg.
No. The same ride doesn’t exist in Gothenburg but there is a ride in Gothenburg that’s designed, built, and engineered by the same company, namely Schwarzkopf.
@Kevin Foley And in addition the ride in Gothenburg has been refurbished 5 years ago with completely new trains, Jetline at Gröna Lund had the same old trains from when the coaster was first built
So we’ll have to go to a real news channel to see the actual footage.
Let me know if you find it
@User1990 I’ll just leave this comment here in case
@User1990 no, do your own websearch.
I did, I found it.
This is a real news channel. The viewers of NBC News just aren’t knuckle draggers or kindergarteners who find gore fascinating.
@truthseekers A video showing when it actually happened or just afterwards?
Sad
At least they don’t have gun violence and a bunch of thugs in their amusement park. The grass is really greener on the other side if you compare this country to ours
They have gun violence but it’s reserved to criminals. They aren’t even allowed to defend themselves over there.
Wdym? Gun violence is like the biggest problem in Sweden
Ha ha no gun violence in sweden. Joke of the day 😄
@Mejalol
You must be joking eh? 🤣 😂 gun violence is the biggest issue in Sweden, the police saying there are 5 year olds running around with guns and killing people 🙄 Sweden has the highest crime rate in Europe even worse than UK 🇬🇧
I did not know the Ohio school of roller coaster design was taught in other countries .
@OMonkay I hate ohio which is a state found in the United States of America . Their poorly designed roller coasters was the intended punchline .
@Michael Dimitri Richardwell I’m sorry Ohio has the best coasters in the nation
That Rollercoaster 🎢 wasn’t made in United States it was made in Germany 🤡
Took it too far.
I will stick to the Safety of Rock Climbing. 😅
I will stick to the safety of imagining to rock climb
@Scott Pyke I will stick to the safety of reading your comment about imagining to rock climb
I will stick to the safety with superglue.
@Rasmus people actually do, you know. If you were good with geometry in school you’ll be fine; if you were more an Algebra whiz, pick something else.😊
@J Urbex roller coasters are most certainly more save. vending machines are more dangerous than coasters.
Was at a carnival when the GENERATOR quit, Children screaming and crying in the dark, stuck !!
this is why I always sit in the very front,if something goes awry just take me out,i don’t wanna be some mangled up pos for the rest of my life.
I don’t think I really matters where you sit. Coasters are super safe anyway
@hassassinator8858 that’s the point,I wanna see how my story ends, and try to make it quick.
@ChasingThrills yeah it’s probably more just luck of the draw than anything.
The one person that died sat in the front as that car derailed and the other people got minor injuries
@britishairways7473 lol my strategy may be flawed then.back to the drawing boards
Infographic heavy videos need to be labeled as such in the title. People who are blind end up listening to nonsense with no way to translate the text
Tänkte åka till gröna lund men efter detta olycka känns det som att man inte äns vill vara där.
Min kompis var 10 meter från olydckan
And this y I don’t do em
Guess you don’t fly in planes or drive cars then? Much higher chance of car accident/death
OMG! Has Greta been notified yet?
thought this only happens in the US or China
It happens everywhere
I used to take a ride with Jetline. Guys, you know that it was minor issues with the rollercoaster the days before, nor this serious. I am from Sweden living here, and I was so sad reading this news about Gröna Lund.
I was there just this year riding jetline all day since there were no lines in off season :/
terrible accident
I was there that day and i rode Jetline once.
They probably built the roller coaster using Ikea instructions…
This is a Final Destination type of death.
No it’s not
I like that.
As a former swedish servicetechnician in the field mostly hydraulics, electrics and different moving objects it’s sad to hear people actually noticed that the equipment didn’t do it’s intended purpose and there’s no doubt someone need to make a proper decision to hear these observers out and make a ‘complete’ safety inspection. Went one ride with this last year ‘June -22’
Condolences to all families traumatized of this accident.
yeah facts, this is just terrible. it annoys me so much greedy people you could say almost rigged it because they didn’t care enough to fix it and then someone died over it…
@LeeOne 2000My friend literally had a dream about an accident on Jetline the night before.
Whenever people with no knowledge can tell something is wrong, then you know it’s bad.
So sad to hear about this tragic incident. My condolences
They could’ve prevented this accident. But they didn’t, which is extremely sad
And I care why?
Then why did you click this video, not to mention comment? The title is pretty self explanatory of what this video was about.
What a horror show you are playing with fire when you get on those Rollercoasters 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
FINAL DESTINATION. GOING TO RE-WATCH THAT MOVIE AGAIN.
Ban all amusement parks. Start with Disneyland. People are not safe
They are much safer than car rides, we don’t ban cars. Accidents happen of course, but they are pretty rare. It’s significantly more dangerous by several orders of magnitude to drive a car.
That’s a ridiculous reaction. Something like this happening is very rare.
probably operator error by one of these culture enrichment people from @fr1ca, who got one of these substituted jobs, payed mostly by tax payers
The rollercoaster is about 35 years old and no renovation since 2000
Lol, they check the Rollercoaster every day. They have to!
The ride was made by Anton Schwarzkopf, a ride designer who built Mindbender at Galaxyland (derailment in 1986, three dead) and Quimera at La Feria Chapultepec Mágico in Mexico (derailment in 2019, two dead). Both disasters happened very similarly, and it’s not off the cards that this happened in similar fashion as well.
I’d be careful jumping to conclusions because rollercoasters still need continuous maintenance after being put into use. It’s possible this is a factor in many accidents, as maintenance can be done incorrectly, or sometimes skipped entirely to save money.
A _derailment?!_ That bespeaks _very_ poor maintenance practices. I once worked as a roller coaster operator, and the park where I worked was absolutely bonkers about safety — both host and guest safety (their jargon for “employee” and “visitor”). We had a system that allowed rides to be run only if maintenance had completed both the mechanical and electrical checks overnight, which they had to do _every_ night, not just once in a while. We often found them just completing the checks in the morning when we showed up. Now, a roller coaster not only has wheels running on top of the track, but also “upstop” wheels which engage rails facing downwards underneath the track in cases where there are negative G forces. Most (including the one that I operated) also have “guide wheels” engaging rails facing sideways, rather than flanges on the running wheels as on a conventional train (a kiddie coaster at our park was an exception to this rule). These are there to handle transverse G forces. For a train thus locked into its track a derailment is extraordinary. Something must have gone wrong with at least one set of wheels, which is an *_inexcusable_* lapse in maintenance practices. I hope that somebody ends up paying out all his kronor and more for this on some judge’s orders. Den som är ansvarig för denna olycka förtjänar inte att leva!
Exactly. No one was maintaining how needed to be.
I am so disappointed. I feel stupid not to say that were no maintaining procedures for the oldest. But! You keep closed the wood rollercoaster one for unknown reasons. The Wild Mouse is next if someone doesn’t do anything. Also gröna lund would not be appreciated so much right now. And also!! The retaining bars failed! There was nothing to keep the people in the seats!!!!
Nothing works in our country anymore.. Thank you Social democrats!
Seat belt needed for 🎢
Oh my God that’s sad I’m going to tell theme park worldwide about this
can you guys tell theme park worldwide about it
