% of delivered Mercedes EV’s?
This id pretty much about upcoming ev in future.
Still in Europe Mercedes has sold more then 117,000 EVs last year. Twice as many as in 2021.
They pretty much make an Electric version of all traditionel models.
EV make 6% of total sales from Merc passenager cars
Re: NACS Capitulation Timeline. “Back when,” VW “muscled” CCS acceptance to spite Diesel Gate sanctions & snub the upstart with an opposite spec to Teslas. So unless they’ve overcome pride/hubris, expect the VW “big boy” to be among the last (as in by preventing Porsche from doing so.). Crow on the menu. Legacies have two years to relocate their plugs.
0:20 its north america only, not global
Global news because there is no other situations where car makers adopt a rival’s designs as a standard. What is happening in the USA is manufactures making a standard by default instead of a governing body.
@89five3five what i read is that ccs1 doesn’t work very well. tesla being by far the dominant ev in NA, and a nicer connector, the others gave in and joined tesla when tesla opened their system.
tesla connector is the ccs2 standard in europe.
@LaBambaCthe nacs is not much better then the european CCS2
LEGAs are so far behind. Old Auto van Winkels never thought about Where? to charge EVs, or How?
Tesla is crushing it! Welcome to NACS Merceds 🎉
