Why not just listen to Tesla?
Oh no,not the silly Cybertruck!
It’s not that silly when you look more into it. I don’t need a truck so I’m not their target customer but it’s an interesting and novel design for sure. The stainless steel body alone… no more worrying about scratches and rust.
Is this the first full size 4 door 6 foot bed truck that can park in most garages?
OK, I give up; is it?
Just more Hype. scale to what? does this Expert say anything about the new 4680 cells achieving a low reject rate? That’s been the problem. Not a word. Tesla has made big promises to start production so they will; but probably they’ll be losing money because the defect rate problem hasn’t been fixed enough to make money on them. So they will only make a few thousand a month.. perhaps 5000 ; not likely 10,000 ..thats only about 100,000 with a milion back ordres it will take 10 years to fill.
The 4680 remains a vexing problem and one that so far is a money loser for Tesla. Let them prove me wrong – make 100,000 a month .. No Way.
Even if they make 100k trucks this year there is over a million pre orders
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
My theory: Tesla is buying old Teslas and using the batteries. and then they exchange them out later via warranty when they fault in a few years. Customer would never know and think they are getting a free upgraded battery. Won’t be able to exchange out the batteries once they are incorporated into the framing of the vehicle. Remember. You heard it here, first.
@SikDigitz we’ll see; so far they don’t have many cybertrucks they didn’t make many cars till 2020 so you can’t make too many recycled ones
@LiteStuff LLC they made enough cars before 2020. They did have them for sale on their site. Used. But not anymore.
Yes Magic I mentioned that myself 100,000 will be a dissapointing number if that is all they do; but the 4680 seems to still be problematic and having high reject rates; if you throw out a large percentage of the batteries you make; you can’t make much money even if you raise the price. This is why there are no new roadsters and very few Tesla Semis made – they still are not out of the woods on the 4680 which is the main problem facing these vehicles; automated production isnt an issue.
Tesla ROADSTER is not KEY, to the Goals of Tesla mission.
Tesla Spruce goose. The stupidest looking vehicle ever. Designed by a 4 yr old, with a 5k dollar front windscreen and a 300 dollar front wiper that will never keep up with the rain or snow. But it looks rad!!!
Nice makeup Ross xD
Duntzcap Telsa. I like the Chinese ev’s. More style, more luxury, and nothing blows up.
NIO and Xpeng have a DEMAND problem.
I didn’t say the Roadster is key; it is simply using the 4680 cell and is hampered by the same problem as Semi and Cybertruck; the 4680 cells are problematic.
