India has launched its first mission to observe the Sun.
The mission comes days after it made history by becoming the first country to land near the Moon’s south pole.
The Aditya L-1 solar observatory will study the Sun’s outermost layers

Edit: The ones concerned about money spent in space programs should know the fact that the best way to ameliorate the lower class is by funding Eduction and “RESEARCH”. ISRO earns back the money through satellite launches anyway, so don’t worry.

There are some people who think space missions only consume money and not generate employment, I will try to explain
1. The high-tech machines, instruments, sensors are some manufactured by ISRO, some other Indian companies and some imported from other countries -> so there is a Manufacturing, Designing, Fabrication, logistic job
2. If we count the number of departments involved in space Industry then we have Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Chemical almost all type of Engineers are involved to some extent -> Again job creation for graduates
3. Lots of people who come to office for work they use either personal vehicle, taxi or public transport -> so again job creation for non-technical field guys like Drivers, Fuel station employees.
4. The people eat at Cafeteria -> again it gives employment to people involved in Hospitality and Food industry
These are just direct job’s , indirect jobs will be the engineers who have good salary will have housemaid, he will constantly be investing his money in some sectors like real-estate which will again lead to jobs for construction workers.
So if any Industry flourishes, then there are lots of job creation and its better than giving freebies.
