That black box they supposedly used to jam the alarm system – looks like it’s either possibly a bunch of Tactical WiFi Pineapple kits, or a bunch of Hack RFOne’s. They both do different things, so it depends on what type of security was compromised here, but from that short clip of the box, this is where MY mind went 🙂
They need to open it up and see what it is made from. Looks expensive. Then see how it works and the software on it. Even the water proof case looks rare
@Joshua AI’m not sure if the case is waterproof or not, but the case doesn’t look that special – just a travel/storage case that was obviously modified to contain the equipment needed.
I’m sure (or at least hope) that the police’s IT/cybersecurity Dept is digging into it, & probably already has leads.

@Joshua A heck yeah! I’m sure that would help them much, but even if there isn’t… I’d have fun figuring out what everything is, how it works, etc.. Then I’d be looking up where one would go to purchase those items, see if anyone purchased in bulk (I assume there’s multiples of something), & see if whoever sells that equipment can provide me a customer list for the local area/state.
But yeah – the equipment itself would be nice to check out.

Wow. Chances are they cased the store prior to the crime in order to know the whereabouts of the specific items they stole (aside from the jewelry). Go thru the past two weeks and scrutinize the video looking for those who could fit the description or even a female with a phone.. looking at the bag on the wall or the bottle of booze.
100% also if any “utility” workers were up on the roof in weeks prior. They could have picked their entry point flying a drone over but with that device they had with them to jam the alarm, I’d put money on them casing the place dressed as an AC repair man or pest control or something.
