you will have to have someone in china or eventually in europe to buy it for you and ship it to you. it’s not going to have any cdma compatibility, going to have to be at&t, tmobile.
@Nomad Walkerthat makes sense, originally I was looking into Xiaomi. I’m assuming both unlocked Xiaomi and Nios use GSM only? So it meand even unlocked it wouldn’t work on Verizon? Lol that sucks, been thinking off switching to T Mobile since I travel internationally anyways. Thank you. Can’t get a NIO Ev or a Phone in America…
@Let’s Learn Economics ya i imagine it’s gsm only, but you can google and see if anyone has tried using verizon without cdma and see if it’s possible and how reliable it is, because LTE is GSM based only so 4G verizon phones also take sim cards due to the LTE, and Verizon also have VoLTE for voice calls, so it’s possible to use verizon technically speaking without having CDMA

Usa need to enforce e sim so that people won’t buy these chinese phones. If they buy it esim should not work in those devices for national security reasons
Building a phone just to connect to the car is just stupid.
Why? NIO is already strapped in cash. Stop wasting. Get rid of all these useless side gigs – phones, fusion energy and NIO houses.
NIO self chip and battery will save 10% in gross margin each.

Brilliant move. TESLA boys was waiting for a tesla phone to arrive. . NIO is again way ahead on the tech game. Now building own chips as well in house. Huge company in the making. Nio isn’t the stock. Remember Amazon at 6 bucks anyone…. Buy and hold as much as you can now. My end of year target after Q3, Q4 earnings is a minimum 24 bucks. That’s 3x from here. 😊
