Not every government charges over 150,000 dollars for a rattlesnake bite and has its populace running to cure cancer
Ban all snakes 🐍
Why not educate yourself about how important snakes are? If you did so, then your point of view on snakes will change.
@Geraldo Riviera nah some of us do not like snakes.
@Cat D I Understand the psychology behind it. You fear, hate, or do not like anything you don’t understand. The were created for a reason lol. Maybe you should exercise your brain a bit.
@Geraldo Riviera pretty sure the OP is joking
Eve was framed by one.
Wow ! Boycott Florida avoid Florida at all costs you see what happens .
It’s not that hard to avoid getting bit by a snake. I do feel bad for the delivery driver. She’s just unlucky.
@The Pencil Nerd especially since rattlesnakes use a warning rattle when you get close to them.
Yall actually responding to this is hilarious😂
@Masion new you just replied. Hypocrite.
@Billy The Kidder no always
Hmmm 🤔. Climate change doesn’t effect anyone… I wonder why the snake was out of its habitat 😂? Could it be because of commercialization and the destruction of the reserve land? Hmmm 🤔 😊
Keep the ear buds out and pay attention. They don’t strike without warning. Hope she recovers.
If it gets stepped on it does.
@Tom Cat that’s a lie. If you get close to it. You step on one, you’re already bitten.
Not true at all. You step on one they will bite you before they start rattling.
@Cho Biden you can’t get close to one without that snake knowing you are there. I
@Bunny Man from google-“Rattlesnakes do not always rattle before they strike, nor must they coil before they strike. If they feel threatened, they may coil, strike, retreat or do nothing at all. Each snake is a unique individual and responds accordingly”
I haven’t seen a snake for over a quarter century.
I live in the jungle. Hawaii doesn’t have snakes…
I thought Oprah lived there
“Hawaii has no native snakes”, says the Internet……..that’s kinda cool, actually. But hopefully you have a lot of rodent-killing birds and small carnivores then.
@ICXC😂😂
@JK Hawaiian Hawks & Owls and my .22
@ICXC different island
The Amazon driver was probably fired and replaced before she got to the hospital.
No doubt for sure!
Not before she got to the hospital😂….Dang I tried no to laugh but so true
Take advantage of every thirst aid training you can get. Often it is not the effects of the poison, but inadequate first aid or wrong measures against the bites based on myths which make things worse!
Have you seen a Osha certified first aid kit ? 🤣
@ICXC Its not about having a certain kit. It is about having the knowledge what to do! If you have basic knowledge what to do, you can help a lot with everyday items in your surroundings. A kit can be forgotten, damaged or stolen, but your *knowledge is always with you! However, a good first aid kit with the essentials (i.e. one which doesn’t *confuse you) is of cause a very good thing!
*From a 1 or two day course you took a year ago. Not the one you took 20 years ago for your drivers license…
**A good first aid instructor can tell you what is important, and may point you to useful products.
Have they scoured the snake’s social media for white supremacist comments yet. As we search for a motive.
With that statement from Amazon we can notice that they are protecting themselves and in the end it’s the driver’s fault.
My prayers for prompt recovery.
@The Pencil Nerd not every government charges over 150,000 dollars for a rattlesnake bite and has its populace running to cure cancer
@The Pencil Nerd someone gotsa pay
@The Pencil Nerd ain’t nobody got time fo dat
Always like that
if you ever need aspirin and band aids- HOLLLLAAA!!!!!!!!!!
Even the snakes in Florida are racist.
Usps nor did amazon help the first lady they mistook n makdd homeless. Now the real snake is fohnd n nobkdys here offering help
Hopefully, Amazon covers the medical bill, health insurance doesn’t t cover venomous snake bites and cro-fab is 10k a vial and treatment consists of 4-12 vials. Add in the cost of other treatments like Fasciotomy to treat the compartment syndrome often associated with these bites, skin graphs, etc and this is potentially a 500k hospitalization.
She’ll be fired lol Amazon we’ll see the outcome
@Miguel Magaña unfortunately that’s likely. The way they worded their statement said a lot.
Nope
Eastern diamondback?
That type will give you a really bad day….
I read on the internet if you smack a rattlesnake on the head, they’ll be your friend.
And you believe that story?
Ban rattle snakes!
Ban ALL snakes!
And rifles too
R.I.P
it’s the law of attraction. that’s what happens when you work for fuknAmazon. it’s an evil company and it’s full of snakes. the snake just wanted to go home again.
Bitten by a venomous rattle snake, As opposed to the non venomous rattle snake !
I never heard of a non-venomous rattlesnake.
Vicks Vaporub, bro, and you’ll be good as new.
I almost stepped on a Mohave Green Rattlesnake last night. It was right outside my door. Luckily, they really don’t want to bite you and I wasn’t letting my dogs out at the time. For sure at least one of them would have gotten bitten. Still scared me pretty good and a reminder that they are out there.
Hope the driver recovers! Most bites aren’t fatal when they do happen. It sounds like she caught a very wet (lot of venom) and bad bite though.
They have the most potent venom of any rattlesnake too. I keep 2 mojaves, green and a Texas mojave with Type A neurotoxin.
Never heard of a Texas one. Just that they tend to have both hemo and neurotoxic venoms. The closer to Mexico and in Mexico the more likely to have both venom types. @Arin Satterthwaite
Would like to hear how that exactly went down. Speedy recovery 🙏
She was simply delivering a package while wearing Amazon gear. You make it sound like she didn’t take any precautions while out hiking in the woods actively hunting for snakes.
That last part of the statement was such a “That’s her own fcvk!ng fault for doing her job and not understanding that snakes can be anywhere, so she should not have felt safe fulfilling the delivery.” Like…
I’d already decided to never set foot in Florida again. I despise their systematic racism, treatment of asylum seekers, etc. But this pretty much cements my commitment. Just. No.
@Cho Biden👏🏼👏🏼
@Bunny Man ok? Why make a political comment on a snakebite video?
@Cho BidenBecause snakes remind her of politicians.
Better to be bit by a snake than stabbed by a homeless person at least they get rid of the snake after
@William Knowles also better than getting shot by a democrat
Those civilians should have rushed that Amazon man to the hospital immediately……. 🤦♂️
Sorry, this isn’t covered under workers comp. Let’s be honest, we don’t even have workers comp. -Amazon-
Sounds like she was working for the real snakes Amazon! 🐍
🤣🤣
Probably wakes up hoping no loose pitbulls attack her then this happens 😢 hope she recovers soon
What does serious condition mean
I’ll stay in North Carolina; we only have copperheads to deal with around Raleigh.
Alert them to alligators and snakes! The drives are so busy and distracted; they need help!
Almost struck by rattlesnake in New Mexico 2002 😮
Hope she is okay…
This is what happens when you let developers build endless homes in the middle of Florida swamps.
Bingo!
The entire state is a swamp.
I’m surprised the media isn’t saying the snake was racist or race related in some way.
A very bad critter! They can act predatory towards people!
Glad to hear the Amazon employee is stable ill pray for your fast recovery
But on the broadcasting side how stupid are you in youre concrete buildings to state an investigation will ensue well for anybody thats lived around snakes in areas where snakes are around i will tell you they are out there and for this particular snake he was probably cooling down and the delivery driver scared him since we humans tower over them and he felt threatned and bit the victim not the employees fault and i heard they killed the snake instead he should have been relocated way or into the wild
You think Amazon will compensate this gentleman?
I was cleaning shrubs and pulling old mulch that’s been out for a while into a bucket to lay around a fruit tree —bare hands. I didn’t even know there was a baby snake in it until I was tossing it out on the base of the tree —also bare hands. That thing flipped out and I about screamed and faint! But luckily, it was late fall on a super cold day and it was still and slightly stiff bc of the cold weather. If not for the cold temp, it would have gotten me. It wasnt poisonous, think it was a garter snake, but still the shock of seeing a snake flip out of a bucket that you hand your hand all up in 😵💫
Florida has 6 native poisonous snakes. It’s part of life.
More reasons for me to never move to Florida
It’s funny how Florida has problems with bigger snakes than that.
the sign read “HR residents Only”. wonder if we get “the snake was there first” argument. bahahahaa, you never know how our new “communities” will impact wildlife- Here is a prime example of what happens.
I hate it when stupid little kids advertising on Youtube that they can show you how to make millions. Dame stupid kids, not even off diaper yet but think that they can make your rich.
Amazon makes it sound like she knew it was snakes there.. wow..
I wonder if the snake felt cornered or threatened. People shouldn’t wait for rattlesnakes to rattle before they bite; some do; some don’t.
Turned the Amazon smile upside down. Feeling unsafe on the sidewalk. Wishes for a speedy recovery.
0:48 Kight says when you see them just leave them alone.
Kight also says most times you don’t see them then you get bitten 😂
most poisonous snakes I’ve come across in florida will stand their ground , as oppose to the non venemous types which will avoid you , my area has a lot ot black racers , known for eating rattlesnakes & other venemous snakes .
I HATE snakes !
Here’s a bit of snake safety advice, don’t wear earbuds or AirPods or whatever when outside in an environment where rattlesnakes are potentially present because as a general rule they don’t want to bite people and waste their venom on something that they can’t possibly eat, so audible sound is the snake’s warning sign that you are too close for their comfort and if you hear that rattle sound slowly reverse course but if you can’t hear the rattle sound because of listening to music then it is your fault. I’m not saying that is what happened here this time but it does happen often. Other types of venomous snakes are also present in the state and they don’t all have audible warnings so keep your eyes open as well. There’s also a few good very distinct ways to tell if a snake is venomous or not and one is the eyes because Venomous Snakes have Cat Like Pupils where non-venomous snakes have round pupils and the other big one is an arrowhead or triangular shaped head always means venomous because right behind the jaws sticks out because the glands that produce venom so between the pupils being round or cat eyed and triangular or arrowhead shaped head you can identify any venomous snake in the country. However non venomous snakes like a python still have a horrific bite with a mouthful of rearward facing teeth that break off when they bite prey
Amazon is going to blame the critical conditioned driver so as not to pay out. “Leave the snakes alone the lady says. Well I’m pretty sure the driver wasn’t going to pet it.
I’ll sue Amazon if I can
Clearly Amazon has no compassion for their employees
SMH
Wow…what a very insensitive response from Amazon. SMH
Sooo…its her fault??!! 😠
I don’t care if you work for Amazon. Don’t deliver no snake skin boots around here buddy
I hate walking in Florida. And its getting worse. Thank God the driver got help. Thats a lot of poison.
Or…..move…..
🙏Matthew 24:3-26 KJV
3 And as he (Jesus) sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Jesus is appearing soon for the Church! Titus 2:13, 1 Thessalonians 5:9, Revelation 3:10, Romans 5:9 etc.❤
Shut up, A”mazon! It’s not as if the driver saw the snake first and said to themselves “oh, look, a rattlesnake, well, I’ve got to deliver, anyway…….I don’t feel unsafe at all with THAT there”! Make sure you resend that memo around! NO Amazon delivery person safe, anywhere!
these corporations don’t care because they know that people need jobs to survive in this rigged system they’ve created ….
Will she survive?
Porch viper.
Now just be careful did she just started with Amazon worker just remembered that people live with them and other things and snacks no how to bend in with every thing and the color of the snake to now people are going to do more training what to look for in Florida and other places
I’m sure the snake wasn’t lying on the sidewalk leading up to the house. It was probably behind one of the pillars and got startled with her dropping off the package. CLEARLY, Amazons non human response, shows why employees need the protections of Unions. Don’t think a corporation gives two sh_ts about you. It’s so bad they only offer the ”thoughts” and not even the ”prayers” anymore.
Wow God Bless the driver and full revcovery please
We Amazon Drivers stand together we wish you the best and a full recovery 💙
Where are the missing children from Hawaii?
Snakes are evil. Amazon ??
The owner probably told them “don’t worry he doesn’t bite”
Komodo dragon
Learn how to identify. Learn. Read a book. Educate. Don’t assume all snakes are dangerous. learn
. What’s the phobia of learning??????
“They should not complete delivery if they feel unsafe. ” But what happens after they report safety issues? Stop acting like they will not get penalized.
I’d sue the property/homeowner and Amazon.
Amazon probably said get back to work
Watch hr blame awareness of surroundings on a camo based animal
The way amazon said drivers should not try to deliver if they feel unsafe. Posturing to fight that upcoming law suit
