Why is AMC stock so low??? 😂
Max pain, call options this week from $11 to $9.50 strike has to be crushed and put out of the money.
Because the Hedge Funds (Mostly Citadel) and Their Broker’s (TD Ameritrade, Schwab, etc..) over sold millions of counterfeit AMC stocks due to high demand and then they “Shorted” (Bet that AMC would go out of business due to COVID). It survived ! Now they are in big trouble (Estimations of $1 Trillion worth ) and now they have to pay for all those so called “synthetic” (counterfeit) shares as they borrowed the money to hedge against AMC demise! So now they are creating more and more counterfeit shares and selling them at a loss to drive the stock market price down, so that when the banks call in their loans it won’t cost them so much to repay. The SEC has been working to control this and pass laws on this with little success (corruption) so as of last month the FBI is involved ! AMC of course is a great worldwide company and now is a good time to buy some of its stock!
