HPE CEO discusses 2024 outlook, says AI has as much potential as internet and smartphones

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is leaning harder into its artificial intelligence commitments, viewing the industry as a $150 billion opportunity over the next three years alone. HPE CEO and President Antonio Neri sits down with Yahoo Finance Executive Editor Brian Sozzi to discuss the AI infrastructure the company is building up to keep up with customer demand.
“AI is moving much faster than the previous two cycles, whether it was the mobility access that everybody got or Web 1.0,” Neri says, also commenting on employment concerns surrounding AI: “It provides the ability, for this generation, to learn in different ways and to do more value-added in their jobs,” Neri says
Neri goes on to talk about the computer software maker’s guidance and addresses concerns stemming from economic woes and geopolitical events.
