Mali’s military is accusing the UN peacekeeping mission of compromising security in the north of the country by closing its operation in haste.
Chadian UN peacekeepers are leaving the northern town of Kidal where Touareg rebels are regrouping.
The junta says The UN’s departure is creating a security vacuum with armed groups gaining ground.
