10-year Treasury yield to drop by summer 2024: Strategist

The stock market had its best week of 2023 last week with the Dow Jones Industrial Average (^DJI), S&P 500 (^GSPC) Nasdaq Composite (^IXIC) gaining over 5% each. Investors are closely watching upcoming earnings reports and the next decision from the Federal Reserve to see if the market can continue its rally. UBS Private Wealth Management Managing Director Brad Bernstein joins Yahoo Finance to discuss the Central Bank’s next moves and what investors should consider as strategy heading into next year.
When asked about the 10-year Treasury yield, Bernstein explains that “we see the 10-year by next summer, potentially, down 100 basis points from here. We are recommending right now to our clients to be adding to balance portfolios because we love the fixed-income market and we like the stock market at these levels.”
