This is a ‘good news’ job report: U.S. Acting Labor Secretary Su

U.S. job growth slowed in October, with 150,000 jobs added, fewer than the 180,000 that had been expected. The unemployment rate ticked higher to 3.9%. In an interview with Yahoo Finance’s Jennifer Schonberger, United States Acting Secretary of Labor Julie Su says this is the kind of report the Biden administration had been expecting, adding that it’s “a sign that the president’s economic policies, that Bidenomics is really working.” Watch the video above to hear what Su says about the impact of the UAW strike on the report and the increase in the unemployment rate for black women.
