The Consumer Price Index rose 3.2% year-over-year in October, less than the expected 3.3%. Month-over-month, the index was flat versus estimates of an increase of 0.1%. Stripping out food and energy, prices rose 4.0% year-over-year compared to an estimate of 4.1%. Core prices rose 0.2%, less than the 0.3% estimate.
