What’s going to happen when someone blocks the road? What happens in high traffic downtown areas? What happens if a 3 year old runs out into the street? Will the thing stop? What happens if someone tips the device over? There’s so many things that can happen.
There are many things common folks do not understand, but we can’t advance society if we don’t take risks.
I guess you should just stay in bed.
It has radar and They’ll make it a felony to harm robots.
True. There was a black mirror episode where one of these random someone over
What happens if your dumb A is here on YouTube rotting your brain while smoking weed and rages down the road in your car? Zero chance of any issues right?
The robot has more brains than you for certain.
There’s no doubt in my mind that we are not only going bull, but BTCis going to the moon. I have met people who are wondering if now is a good time to buy because of where the price is at right now. I’d say it’s outrightly wrong to just sit back hodl and wait maybe incur some losses along the line, that’s a wrong mindset for an investoɾ because as an investoɾ finding ways to always increase and stack up more coins thereby making prof! I have been more skillful than lucky to be honest also thanks to Steve who trained me as my initial invstment was multiplied by 5 In two months. After getting in touch with Erick Moore, an anaIyst in the cryptospace, who showed me how to use his program to make transactions and got I7 BͳC in 2 moths with him. if you are looking for a way to increase your portfolio or investment. I really appreciate the down to earth way these programs are taught. Not the get rich quick if you pay me more money scheme that others push at you. Thanks for everything!
There is no stopping automated vehicles. Especially the trucking industry. There is too much money to be saved. There is going to be a very large reduction in jobs. The bottom 60% of society doesn’t really contribute to the economy. They will be eliminated as a cost too.
Or, we could share what’s left of the workload…and take the rest of the time off.
Bottom 60% doesn’t conttibute to the economy? Are you nuts? I hope those robots also like eating the pizzas they serve.
@@joanam3070
I think the OP means the bottom 60% don’t have an innovative effect, just repetitive tasks, which could be automated.
But it almost seems like the OP is trying to stoke fear.
We could utilize more people for innovations when they have more free time, if we had better ways of engaging our curiosities and talents.
You must be in the bottom 10% of that 60%.

I still like having ppl deliver stuff TO my door. I don’t want to go hunting for a droid in my underwear.
I believe a lot of people wouldn’t mind the inconvenience of stepping outside to get stuff, in exchange for much cheaper delivery and no tipping requirements. My guess is human delivery might switch from being the default to being a more premium option. Maybe they’ll eventually have something like Boston Dynamics Spot step out of the self-driving delivery vehicle with a pizza strapped to its back, and it will walk to your door. It’s crazy how fast this tech is developing!
Wait, are you answering the door to a human in your underwear?? Lol
What’s the big push to put people out of a job?
For every robot a few jobs are created in its supervision, maintenance, manufacturing, reparation and raw materials extraction. Not to talk about the energy. So… Creates more than destroys, or just rather transforms.

I know that was sarcasm, but won’t be to long before that all happens. We have the technology believe that. The stuff released to the public is normally about 10 years old. The government has had this for years

Jonny Laguna maybe so. Robot cook seems more complicated. I bet the cars are better drivers than plenty of people. Might get hit by the crappy drivers though lol
Their trying to replace people with it, but it just doesn’t work. It’s still years away from really working, I’m thinking at least 10-15 years away. I keep hearing about people dying in driverless vehicles, so I wouldn’t worry about this replacing people any time soon.
I don’t see it happening anytime soon. They’re gonna get hit by other vehicles. They can’t deliver in blizzards either when a 4WD is required.
@@CB-hi7mf I don’t think I would want frozen pizza in winter.🥶

Why is this a good thing? All it’s doing is putting people out of work. We don’t need a bunch of driverless cars running around the streets. If Domino’s wanted to do something good they should provide their drivers with electric cars.
Yes, that would be a good idea. So far this is only in Houston, hopefully it won’t catch on too fast. I hope it proves to be too expensive.
U seriously are a cinderblock. Sigh. You obviously are out of touch with what jobs there are. Driving a car is only for druggies who cant do anything else.

I don’t like the ideia. I mean, everyday now, more people are starving and for me order something is more than just the food.
Is about share something and help too, like the deliver guy, if you use DoorDash or GrubHug, you help the driver too with tips, so that’s how we make the economy grows (spending money, and sharing money). Now, this company wants to keep the whole money and make more people starves, so idk. It’s a nice ideia, it’s new, it’s technology, it’s exciting but I don’t like it. Dang, robots are taking over jobs too.
Yeah but let not your heart be troubled because when a robot takes over a human job, that human’s LABOR is now freed up for another PRODUCTIVE venture and / or training and this makes the economy more EFFICIENT and so it’s a net positive. By the time that happens we’ll be long gone. At that point it doesn’t matter if tech takes our jobs, we’ll probably be dying out.

How many deliveries would it have to take to cover the cost of the car and maintenance
It’s not about how many deliveries it takes, but about replacing a delivery driver. So say the Nuro car costs $100,000, and a human delivery driver makes $25,000 a year, if you replace the human with the car, you’ll start to see savings after 4 years.
@@matthewviramontes3131 so instead of paying some driver that maintains his own car pays for his own gas 25k it is a better investment to spend 100k upfront have extra cost such as tires electric bills extra insurance and pay a technician 200k a year to make sure all the self driving cars r up to date on all the software and cameras and everything daily
