It’s been a difficult year to wade through what has amounted to much economic uncertainty, even as stocks have climbed. Luckily TD Cowen has shared its top 10 themes for investors to look out for in 2024. Robert Fagin, TD Cowen Co-Head of Research, joins Yahoo Finance to give insights into these themes and what stocks investors need to keep an eye on. Fagin comments on banks and real estate: “We certainly expect heavier liquidity and capital requirements for banks. That seems almost certain and an area that we’re watching carefully is commercial real estate, which is about 25% of bank loans and where a lot of the regionals are more exposed. If you look at CMBS delinquencies, for example, they rose to about 5.85% recently, which is up from 1.5%, 1.6% last year.
