After more than 30 years leading the NRA, Wayne La Pierre has announced that he is resigning due to health reasons. This comes at an interesting time as La Pierre is set to face a civil trial in New York for corruption. Attorney General Leticia James says his resignation “validates our claims against him.”

PBS just said Wayne was 74 years old. Not true. He was 75 in November. He needs to lie about his age to explain why he was not drafted. He avoided the draft by a friendly family doctor saying he had a nervous condition. Wayne told me this and said it was a lie. His birthday gave him a very low draft number. Mine was high. He and I were absolutely best friends between the ages of 13 and 21. We were both strongly opposed to the Vietnam War and GUNS. His father helped get him into the NRA.

Pay a little for CLASSMATES and see every one’s photo for all four years. Shows He was a C student and I was B student. Proves he graduated 1967 and was eligible for the draft four years later. His birthday will tell his draft number. Decades ago I contacted offices of liberal US Senators and told my stories. They did not care. In the 1990’s my stepson joined the NRA. He wrote the check for membership in PURPLE CRAYON. He wrote it out like a child would. Not only did it go through the system at the NRA but his bank also. Purple crayon!
By the ‘90s, bank computers were able to read any type of pigment to ensure checks were legal tender. Not a big deal by then. I remember when writing a check using red ink wouldn’t go through.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: The current interpretation of the second amendment is unconstitutional. Read the preamble, which clearly lays down the basis for ALL interpretation of the constitution and try to square the second amendment with the preamble. It cannot be done. Someone is going to have to get the Supreme Court to actually read the constitution instead of excerpts from it.
Regardless of the preamble, the 2nd amendment is a GOOD thing!!! It’s simply been perverted over the last 30 years…Before that POS Heston and his down low husband, the NRA was a VERY useful entity, teaching kids firearm safety even IN THE BOY SCOUTS….That mess was another subject entirely, but regardless, the NRA WAS a valuable organization in the past before all these weirdos began this “gun culture” FAD that’s going on at the moment, but as far as the 2nd amendment goes, THAT is a MAIN reason every nation on eath understands it’s IMPOSSIBLE to put foreign troops on US soil without having nuked it beforehand….

We have more guns than humans but all these restrictions in one place but virtually no restrictions just 100 miles away. We don’t have any mental health facilities I would be willing to send my child to and expect the same child when they get out.
I am a leftist believe every citizen 18 and up should be able to own a gun ; for if America was to fall in a crisis many of those we refuse to arm now will be on the frontlines defending our innocent.
But like many of us know, we are in a mental crisis, loneliness at an all time high while there is winding gap amongst the disenfranchised. The powers that be will indeed use this against us ; not in the ways that you think.
We are in the twilight hour, I can’t really say much without sounding crazy but I’ve been following history for a long time. I love humans a lot so I do all I can to find out how we are.
