Gaza should be rebuilt with US and israeli funds and established as a Palestinian state. Free and independent.
That state has been offered for three generations now. Palestine has rejected it every time. I do think that Israel needs to look for a way to disengage from this latest war and offer the two states again if they can.

The Iranian Regime ordered Hamas to attack Israel on October 7th. The Iranian Regime knew what the Israeli response would be. The Iranian Regime knew that children stuck in the middle of this new warzone they created would be killed. The Iranian Regime planned from the beginning to use images of those innocent dead children as propaganda to gain support for their failing Regime and their failing proxies in Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis. This is further evidenced by their propaganda which implies that: Hamas=Palestinian, Hezbollah=Lebanon, Houthi=Yemen, and Iranian Regime=Iran. If you can understand this type of psychological warfare you will understand why the started this war. It’s very important to remember that before October 7th there was no talk of war, the big news was in fact a Saudi-Israel-US peace deal that would have given the people of Gaza their state without any violence whatsoever. This peace deal was unacceptable for the Iranian Regime whose stated goal is not peace, it is the destruction of Israel and why they started this entire mess.

I am a retired Army pilot and a 30 year veteran and lived in this area (the Sinai) for a year and would fight with Israel should they become involved in a situation where they might be overcome!
