Of course we have had big problems with Covid but I cannot fault the authorities. Mandates are the worst way to go, our high vaccination rate proves that. Respect personal choice and you get better compliance.

Well, so far. There isn’t a common trait. Some very healthy people have died. Some sick people have lived. Old people have survived it. Young people have died. My 27 year old marathon running friend has life time lung damage from it. Can no longer run. And he got covid almost 2 years ago. My 70 year old dad got it and was completely fine. That’s why it is hard to stop, because it doesn’t affect people the same and is hard to track. How would you even suggest to possibly find people that “never got it.” Do you think 100% of cases are known? Have you not heard of asymptomatic cases? Do you think people get tested all day everyday?

That could explain tyranny from a positive standpoint. The “lesser endowed” intellects seem to be striving for some kind of dominance right now. Whatever else is true about their avowed policies, the Right are not making a case for their mental power. Rather they are banding together to preserve their freedom to own guns and hate foreigners and poison themselves with whatever they like despite warnings from educated scientists about the dangers.
I say it’s time to stop trying to save them. Nature is telling us these people need to stop replicating themselves, because there is no future for them, because there is no use for them. They are the fat on a body that needs to lose weight. We don’t want to get to the point where you have to apply to have a child, and pass a test. These folks are electing to die for no serious reason. I say let them.
