Fed Chair Powell, here’s some good data to base your decision on in order for you to feel comfortable when lowering rates which is the data related to the ONLY effective way to deal with inflation which way is for there to be a return to the OPA system that stands for the Office of Price Administration system for price controls. As you well know, Mr. Powell, the OPA system for price controls was effectively used during and immediately after WW2 when came to being able to tamp down the greed/avarice of corporate America back then which greed/avarice is still THE main cause for inflation but was done away with by that era’s corrupt Congress over the objections of then President Truman.
