#Michigan #Shooting #Trial
Biggest takeaway from all of this is don’t document your entire life on social media and through text messages. The prosecution’s entire case was based on snippets of her online presence taken out of context, and it worked.
A jury found that the context was GUILTY.
LOL “out of context” What was “out of context” about her keeping a marital affair a secret and aimlessly watching her child spiral into madness?
@@swancman It’s why jokes get you cancelled online. You cant see the context.
It was ignorance neglect and , denial. You don’t have to participate in the crime to be complicit and knowing all she knew and not doing anything is complicit. She’s responsible as much as if she pulled the trigger herself.
Definitely not the entire case, not even most of it. It was just one element of their strong case. The husband will have an even harder time in his case.
Ban guns now
Move to Europe, you’re not getting ours! Come and take it. 🇺🇲
You’ll have to Amend the Constitution first. Good luck!
Move to North Korea where guns are banned
Ban bad parents!
Almost every black father in America would be kicked out. Sounds good to me.
@@CANNABISfreedomNOtaxesyou sound like a tool who owes child support
probably probation…
Yea after 5 Years of jail
Should other parents of previous shootings be charged as well?
Yes… yes they should… and other parents should be charged for their children’s crimes.
@@jeffsimpson1421 Maybe the hood can finally be cleaned up. People will think twice if they know they mama will go to jail too.
@@tdestroyer4780and the father also
They especially should they follows the careless actions of these parents
Depends a lot on what they knew or should have known. In this case the parents actually purchased the handgun used for the kid!
I don’t agree with this, just because you are a terrible parent doesn’t make you responsible for murder. It’s a very slippery slope
If you are stupid enough to buy your kid a gun when it is clear he has issues, you should be thrown in prison. That is literally what happened here.
@@shrugrug7172if she were black you would be crying civil rights violation
If you can’t raise your kids to be decent human beings then you get jail time and fines deal with it or don’t have kids🤷♂️
@@jeffsimpson1421 Kids make their own decisions. You sound German. This woke tyranny is going to far. First you guys support funding wars, now you’re supporting persecutions.
That’s the damndest thing I’ve heard all day…. take some responsibility
If they did this to a black mother for the same exact reason cities would be on fire right now.
You mean like the 6 yr old who brought a gun to school and shot his teacher. Yea she was charged genius 😂 go be racist somewhere else kid
No, they would not. There was clear neglect and recklessness with this family. The kid wrote “blood everywhere, I can’t stop the thoughts, help me” on a test and the parents were informed. They thought it would be a good idea to get him into gun training and got him the gun he ultimately used. If someone is a single mom that is trying her best, but son decides to get involve in crime, then it’s not their fault. I know your racism does not let you think critically but i do think if parents ignore obvious sign and don’t practice proper gun safety then they should be held liable.
@@MrDeftones122755 this opens the door wide open for corrupt courtrooms to convict innocent people for crimes their family members committed. Very judeo-Bolshevik style of justice.
@@MrDeftones122755 How about if their kid is running the streets at all hours of the day and night? What if their kid is hanging with known gangsters?
Name one Black school shooter. And even if you can, it’s still disproportionately white people doing this. You know why? Because apparently, Black people are raising their children right. How does your racism explain that away?
Hallelujah ❤❤❤❤
Parents time to be parents and not your kids best friends…. this goes for you Dad’s too
Are dads not also parents??
Moms = parents
Dads = parents
This is terrible law. This will be overturned on appeal.
This is rough. As a parent I wouldn’t want to be arrested for what my minor child has done outside of my knowledge. I wonder what happened in this case? Most mass shooters come from single parent homes which is hard. But things like this should be done when parents are aware of certain things or cover up….like the mom who saw her 14-year old son’s bloody jeans that stabbed teen girl in the woods.
A revenge decision by the court, that fixes nothing, and establishes a precedent for punishing parents. Better not buy your kid a car, let them drive, or let them have freedom at all. You can’t own a weapon now, you have liability for anything, and everything.
BS. If your child is under 18, you are responsible for them. Maybe you should keep your guns locked up or out of your house. Gun ownership is a massive responsibility, its not some free ride rodeo that you can goof around with.
Slippery slope fallacy all over this one.
My own son shot his brother on accident (he was ok) my son bought a Ak 47 4 days before leaving for boot camp. In Indiana no permit needed. 30 minutes after finding out that he had it I took a break from yelling at him to get it out my house it went off. My landlord my ex husband the courts all blamed me. My son was 18 years old
This is setting new prescidenc, her change should have been making a firearm accessible to a minor. She had no knowledge or intent that her son had a weapon and would use it. My sympathy goes out to all victims in this case.
This is Bull$hit !!!
You sound worried 😂
