Gender gap still exists in number of chairwomen on boards

While there have been more women in board-level positions in the past year, they tend to stay on the board for shorter periods of time compared to men.

“It’s one thing to tick the box and bring women on board. I think it’s a whole different thing if you want to change the culture, of the board of your company,” said the APAC head of ESG and climate at MSCI.
