How much do EVs weigh?
We don’t want to get hit by one!
what kind of stupid ass question is this? do you want to get hit by ICE instead?
More than a bobby car, less than a tank.
My state DOT is planning where DC fast charging clusters paid for by federal dollars will be installed along interstates (usually in rest areas).
Is this retroactive
Nope
Starts Jan 1st 2023
NO 😢
What about the Ford Lightning qualifying? if the Mustang batteries qualify then the Lightning should too, right?
Not @ more than 80K MSRP.
It’s price is hiked by $7500 yesterday! Did you know! Car companies are taking it giving you nothing!
If given a year or two under the most urgent national security reasons, we might be ready to start switching to electric cars.
We are ready to replace mass transit with electric bikes and PEV’s ,much sooner.
Let the manufacturers build charging stations.
Good idea! Why do you think i’ve bought Teslas?
Gay only dumbasses buy a manufactured EV, I wouldn’t even want one that was stand alone.
Bwhahaha
I would never spend more than 10,000 for any vehicle…Having a nest egg is far more important Cheapest Tesla is over 60,000 no way i would buy one. No vehicle is carbon free
Sounds like you are content with driving a go kart
Thats perfectly ok, you keep your fossil burner until there is no fossil to burn anymore. In about 10-15 years.
they should give me a tax break on my 120k bmw ix EV…very smooth ride though so well worth the only 2000 dollar a month payments compared to my previous M8 competition it is much cheaper
gm bolt is not quality??
Sure is.
OK, Question, I placed an order for a BMW Mini in May, have a purchase order for it. $2500 deposit. The Mini will not be here in USA until February, will I qualify for the current $7500 tax credit when I file my taxes in 2024 for the 2023 tax year ?
You will not get any incentives. Not the “old” one and certainly not the new one. You must cancel your order for this outlandish nonsense. Buy a Tesla!
@@wolfgangpreier9160, thanks for your comment, but you are wrong.
I’ll get the current Tax Credit $7500 (old one) as you say, when I file my taxes in the US next April. I fall under the “Transition Rule”, I know the E-MINI will not qualify for the new tax credit. FYI, no Tesla for me, I just purchased a BMW I4 M50. See you at a charging station, lol.
@@johnw.9687 I don’t think that you want to visit Austria while charging. Be happy that you still fall under those rules. I would not have bought a BMW its too expensive for me but if you are happy with it then everything is good!
Since when can lower working class people afford >$50K electric car…??
(~$1000/month; 5 years; just for car payment
Climate Change Legislation is really an euphemism for “Killing off the poor”…!
(… because: Do the wealthy/Politicians care about inflation/Climate Change…?)
The poor will not be able to afford clean cheap cars which cost much but are cheap to operate.
They must buy cheap and pay for every mile – much more than a electric.
Until there are no more cheap fossil cars – then the poor will have to buy expensive EVs.

When society switches to 100% electric…
….heavy metals (Li ; Cad; Hg; Pb) to be polluting all waterways; soil; air; everywhere…
Unlike ubiquitous plastics pollution today…
….heavy metal pollution is toxic..
Let the wars over mining sites begin…!
Here’s the $7500 credit explained by Ford’s F150 EV price hike … Ford keeps $7000 and passes on $500
No you know. How such incentives work.
The manufacturer – and the UAW – get everything, the customer nothing.
If BIDEN is serious he should Remove FORD from the beneficiaries! Ford would then decrease it’s price below it’s original to compete and learn a lesson. But you know how CORRUPT this administration is!
How come the Tesla Model S & Model X don’t qualify?!?!….
Too expensive.
Electric vehicles. BULL $H!T. Most people are not gonna be able to afford one. It aient gonna work.
Nullo problemo: You drive your old cheap sh..t and pay a premium for every mile and we drive the new fancy sh..t. Perfect!
until Doc invents the Flux Capacitor it’s all about reduction of energy usage and efficiency in transportation is a big gain!!! make sure the Autocycle is included in the bill. write your Reps about Aptera!
70% of all electric vehicles are ineligible for the tax credit!!!
More competition and fewer profits are going to foreign adversaries trying to take advantage of federal funds.
The tax credit would be available only to couples with incomes of $300,000 or less or single people with income of $150,000 or less. And any trucks or SUVs with sticker prices more than $80,000 or cars more than $55,000 wouldn’t be eligible.
Dealer markups will eat most if not more than 100% of the rebates
Tesla did well in 2020 and early 2021 but not so great now, Tesla stock is volatile and has suffered several corrections along the way to its current high valuation. And if the stock reacts as it did during the 2020 stock split, waiting may not be the best decision for investors.. What’s the best strategy to make gains in this present market condition? My portfolio is still down by 20% and It scares the hell out of me.
@Flora Quntinilla Tesla is a good stock, knowing when to buy is the best part. If you are not conversant with the markets, I’d advise you to get some kind of advise or assistance from a financial/investing coach. It might sound basic or generic, but getting in touch with a financial adviser was how I was able to outperform the market and raise a profit of $250,000 since Jan. For me, its the most ideal way to jump into the tesla market these day.
@@miawhitlock9140 please who is the financial adviser that assist you with your investment and if you dont mind, how do i get in touch with them?

My Financial Advisor is Jessica Meador Jones I found her on a CNBC interview where she was featured and reached out to her afterwards. She has since provide entry and exit points on the securities I focus on. You can look her up online if you care supervision. I basically follow her market moves and haven’t regretted doing so.
@@miawhitlock9140 I just looked up Jessica Meador Jones online and researched her accreditation. She seem very proficient, I wrote her detailing my Fin-market goals and scheduled a call
Number of EV’s using US sourced battery materials today….. .zero. Thus, there will be no Used EV’s that qualify for the $4,000 credit for about 4 to 6 years… And even then, replacing an EV battery with a China battery averages $14,000. Wanna guess how much a USA sourced battery will cost????
Smoke and mirrors….
Don’t be surprised if EV sales actually go down….
