Egypt must coordinate all aid and border activities with Israel. If there is anything on the aid list that Israel deems as “dangerous” (examples: anesthetic medication, water filtration kits, dates, maternity kits, sleeping bags, and cancer meds to name a few) the constant hold is on Israel’s behalf.
