The media loves to claim that the rich pay less taxes because oh they only paid 3% or 8% income tax and the people who barely make any money had to pay 26% tax. What they don’t acknowledge is 26% tax on $70,000 minus the $12,000 kickback you automatically get for owning and having nothing versus the 3% the billionaire paid take 3% times $1 billion and see how much that man really paid in taxes, and that still doesn’t count for all of the employment tax that every single person that works for them, the employer house to match so now who really pays more in taxes. The wealthy complain that they are not making enough money. Who are the wealthy competing with… the American workers, their fellow billionaires, the billionaires from other countries, or is it about their personal ego of being the richest and how their money is able to help pay off politicians by financial rewards to do their bidding on legal polices, in goverment that benefit them financially?! How does that help ordinary Americans… the majority?!🤔
We should not tax production. It only slows down production. We should not tax the payroll, the corporation or the capital gains. Instead we should tax only land. A tax on real property does not slow down production because land is not being produced. Milton Friedman discovered this many years ago and everyone ignores it 😢

What’s the question? Elon, as anybody else, his wealth fluctuates, he can pay taxes like anybody else. The simple question is: should the super rich pay the similar tax rate like the ordinary middle class? The fact is, the super rich has been paying less than 10% of their income, while the rest of American wage earners paying 20+%. You can check out the tax rate that trump has been paying, alright!
