You could only buy one, maybe two semiconductor equipment with $50-100 million dollars. Samsung in Austin have thousands of equipment that are each more then a million! We have over 100 photolithography, each at about $20 million each! That’s just one area of semiconductor manufacturing! Then there are other equipment in Photo area, then there is Etch, Metals, implant, metrology equipment n the billions going in to infrastructure of the fab! Facilities, chemicals, energy and on and on and on
6.4 billion will buy land n get the building going! Peanut money in semiconductor industry. There are hundred of thousands of semiconductor companies around the world! All competing with one another for business. 😒😏
