He didn’t have a suspended lincense. The judge saw outdated information and acted like arresting officer, judge, and jury to put the man in jail. He punished him for a crime he wasn’t charged with or convicted for. He acted as a witness against a defendant in a court case he was a judge in.

This sounds like a skit idea because it sounds stupid enough to be done in real life.
The whole mixup was caused by a clerical error. “Harris faced a misdemeanor charge from two years ago when he was accused of driving on a suspended license… Court documents from 2022 indicate that a judge lifted the suspension, permitting Harris to drive again. However, the paperwork never reached the Secretary of State’s office, and as a result, Harris’ license remains officially suspended.”
Hence why he was so surprised. He was told the judge had lifted the suspension, there’s court documents to prove that they did just that, but the paperwork never reached the Secretary of States office. Dude spent two days in jail and got humiliated by the entire country
