Apple announced its long-awaited AI push, Apple Intelligence, at the Worldwide Developers Conference on Monday. Compared to its Big Tech competitors, the company has been seen as lagging behind in the AI game.
“What you’ve got is a bunch of catch-up features from Apple. It’s attempting to put it in line with everybody else,” said Richard Windsor, founder of Radio Free Mobile.
However, Apple’s emphasis on data privacy and security, which have been areas of weakness in other AI products, could make up for its late start, he added.
