Bangladeshi here, I think you’re unaware of our situation. We had no democracy during Hasina’s reign, elections were rigged, nobody got to vote and all opposition party members were either arrested or k*lled. We currently seek military rule to set an interim government to then hold a fair election and bring back our democracy. I understand that it’s a common misconception for foreigners unaware of our situation but making an uninformed comment is a sign of ignorance.

@@sui_generis1 Yes but look at what is happening now. People are destroying statues of Sheikh Mujib, a man that freed our country from Pakistan. People are vandalizing and attacking Hindu minorities. I have also seen images of people holding ISIS flags along with our flag.
I don’t want to be biased here but from what I have seen, they are trying to turn Bangladesh into an Islamic State, which is tremendously worrying. I am losing hope.

Finally the dictator EvIl Dajjal Prime Minister fled the country. She and her complicit cabinet members, ministers and goons needed to tried into the International Court of Justice. Hats off to the brave students, women, children and innocent civilians. She has blood on her hand. According to majority people’s opinion, her authoritarian rules crippled the country and its people. Prim Minister and her loyalists smuggled the billions of dollars into the foreign countries from Bangladesh. Definitely all of them needed to be investigated by International Court of Justice.
