Rescuers are digging through a mountain of rubbish, searching for more bodies, after the collapse of a landfill site in Uganda’s capital. At least 12 people have died after homes were engulfed by the vast garbage dump following heavy rain.

As a Ugandan in kampala and this garbage business I’m saddened by the loss of innocent lives, children and women. This is the problem with leaders who doesn’t care about the citizens. Very corrupt to the core . For sure our country is in dangerous hands.

There was only one excavator to rescue people at first but people were down in garbage on phone calls seeking for help and others were yelling, knocking the walls down there but having one excavator for that incident imagine..
