seems that the psychological trend for mainstream media is to frighten people …
Most of us are fine, a couple homes damaged from the weather some houses did take a beating. I’m a Bermudian weathering it out, it’s normal to stay through the storm as our houses are built for it and the flash flooding is mainly on the shoreline from the storm surge
I have some questions here to ask in case if anyone would happen to possibly know the answers to them even though this might seem off-topic and all, but I was just wondering anyway:
1. My e-mail account hasn’t been hacked or anything, but a while back I noticed that my e-mail account/address has started receiving various spam e-mails and this has been an ongoing problem for me since this has been happening almost every day for the past several months. What exactly causes this to happen?
2. I might have also accidentally responded to a spam e-mail or two from before even though I didn’t mean to do so, and it seems like ever since then, my e-mail account has just been receiving even more spam mail that way. What exactly causes that to happen too and why?
3. If you open and/or interact with spam e-mails in any way, how exactly do the scammers themselves know if you responded to their e-mails like that?
4. Is there also some possible way to completely stop the spam mail altogether or not? I’ve been reporting the e-mails, deleting them, blocking them, and even blocking the e-mail addresses and domains where the e-mails have been coming from, but it seems like no matter what I’ve been trying to do, nothing seems to be stopping it so far and I sometimes even receive some spam e-mails somehow from certain senders even though I already have their e-mail addresses blocked although they shouldn’t be going through to me if I already have them blocked.
I just thought of asking these questions though in case if anyone knows the answers to them and I know this is kind of off-topic and all, but this is just something that I’ve been having to deal with now for quite some time and it’s just really aggravating too although I wish it would somehow stop. I just want to know why and how this sort of thing happens, and also if there’s a way to possibly stop it somehow.
I have a couple hurricane-related questions to ask in case if anyone happens to know the answers to them since I was just wondering myself since I just thought of asking:
1. I know hurricane season usually lasts between June and November, but how come it always seems like August and September are the most active times for hurricanes though, especially September? It always seems like we get more hurricanes and storms around September more for some reason than any other month during hurricane season.
2. Also, I don’t know if it’s just me or what, but how come it also seems like a lot of these storms and hurricanes with the female names seem to be stronger than the male storms for some reason? It always seems like the female storms seem to be the strongest though than the male storms.
I just thought of asking these questions though since I was only just wondering myself.
I hope everyone down in Bermuda is okay.
First, I helped Mother Nature weaken Ernesto, and now I’m crushing it by enhancing what I’ve learned. Wish I could have wised up 24 hours ago to protect Bermuda even more. It’s nearly 5:30 pm central on Saturday. Ernesto is doomed. No one is likely to believe me. Oh well. So let me make this prediction. It’s just after 8pm central on Saturday. Ernesto is doomed. NHC kept promising 110…110. But then they had to revise down to 90. Then they promised more 90s. Those were revised to 75. Ernesto will go lower than their latest predictions once again.
