There’s just so many weird things about this case. I still think they are using Kohberger as a scapegoat and they really have no idea who did it or actually know and it’s much darker. My understanding is that things were going on in that house even before the victims moved in and that it’s all related. Why was the house destroyed even before the trial?
I normally don’t need a reason to say our.court system is corrupt, but when ever there’s a change in venue my eyes raise. I’ve seen judges who say they hate someone and want an excuse to lock em up and that’s not enough to move the venue. Something is up here
What weird things going on in the house?
@@McCarthy0000 Basically that the house had been used to facilitate illegal activities for a long time. May be true, may be not.
I think they have the right guy, but the evidence is so weak that it has to be put together to be believable. The DNA is so weak that it is not there hole in one for a conviction since the DNA was on a foreign object that could have been brought in by anybody into a party house.

Trial can’t come soon enough
Yes, it doesn’t seem like it will delayed past summer 2024, but I guess we’ll see. They originally scheduled for the summer with Moscow ID in mind, as being quieter. So now that they no longer have that issue, could they even schedule it earlier? I don’t see why there’s any reason to put it off longer, at this point.
UPDATE: That should read summer 2025 (not 2024)
@tonis8131 we’re already passed summer 2024. We’re in fall 2024 now
So the prosecution can fall flat on their weak evidence! They have a single finger print on a sheath. By the way, there was no blood in his car, after having just committed a brutal quadruple murder. The prosecution has shoddy evidence regarding his whereabouts. They refuse to provide the full cell phone triangulation to his defense. My guess, it was an ex lover of one of the roommates who died that day.
@@ArizonaSquatchThey have 0 evidence. They already threw out the DNA. The method they used has no standing and has never been used in an active case. No way a spree killer would ever leave an eyewitness.

I’ve wondered this too, to be honest.
I would say it’s a .00000001% chance (which is not reasonable doubt), and this is after reading about the facts and analysis in the case. He of course has a right to make his case in court, but I don’t see how he’s going to be able to falsify the state’s case (AFA we know) and they’re only going to have more at trial. IOW the police have already proven he did it.

He’s not going to move much more, I’d think. After the Ada County Jail, I would think, it’s to death row at Idaho Maximum Security Institution (I’m seeing on google) which is currently holding 8 other men. There’s one for women, too, and there’s one woman on death row now in Idaho.

I read an article about it at the time. As far I followed (and it still doesn’t make sense to me), it said, by doing so, the defense leaves certain options on the table later down the road, and with regard to anything concerning mental health. There were a couple of other things the article mentioned, but I forget. The mental health one stood out the most to me, but raised more questions that answers. For example, does that mean, if they suddenly found out he was a multiple personality? It’s a good question, though. I wish there was more discussion and clarification about it. It was a defense move, though. It wasn’t something the judge decided. It’s a choice his defense attorney made at the outset.
He “stood silent”. When his attorney said they will be standing silent, the judge is forced to put in a plea of not guilty.
In America, all are entitled to a defense
He did it for like a psychological thing it’s like a weird law …if the defendant (bryant) stays silent when he has the option to choose then the judge has to plead not guilty for him …they did this because they think the whole thing is phony and they wanted to try to make the judge look silly..I think he has a rougher road in boise actually…either way tho, not gonna be good for him

If you had any experience with high profile murder cases, you would understand that it takes years to prepare a death penalty case.
But do they have evidence to prove he did it? I don’t think so. So far the only thing is a single touch print on a knife sheath. No blood in his car that matches the victims. I didn’t think he did it. The roommate who watched the alleged killer walk right by her, knows more.

Ignorance and their emotions getting in the way and not knowing that there are people behind the judicial scenes pulling the strings, and not feeling like they have any control and wanting to maintain an image that they do. It’s very shallow and fake of them.
Kaylee’s dad doesn’t like someone the second something doesn’t go the way he wants it to. I understand his attitude and reaction for the first few months after it happened but now he needs to sit back and allow the legal process to play out.
Biggest issue we have with our current legal system is that it ends up costing taxpayers 5 to 10 million dollars to get these cases to a guilty verdict. Then another couple of million in automatic appeals once they get sentenced to death.
Then about $250K a year for the incarceration, including medical care, meals, basic needs. America has a for profit prison system.
@@ArizonaSquatch And, it only gets worse as the prison population ages, leading to rising healthcare costs. Although, for basic inmates it’s around 50k a year to lock them up. So when you see people leaving comments as to why some petty repeat offender thief isn’t getting 20 years. You have to respond with. It would cost taxpayers a million bucks to house them for 20. Definitely a broken system as I recall when I was amongst the inmate population.
“Why is it taking so long?”, because they’re going for the death penalty… The prep for this quadruple murder must be insane for both sides.
Because the evidence from the prosecution is weak. They have shoddy cell phone triangulation evidence, that may prove he wasn’t in the area that night. Based on cell phone tower pings. Plus the roommate who watched the alleged murderer walk right by her, never called the police. And she certainly didn’t call the police about her roommates. That was a friend of hers that came over to check on the roommates. Her story is key. I think it was an ex lover of one of the 2 girls that was killed. By the way, there was no blood in his car, that after he allegedly stabbed 4 to death. You’d have blood all over you and your clothes.

@@ArizonaSquatch There were questions about his cell phone triangulation records. That’s true. Why did his cell phone turn off leaving the area of his apartment before the murders, and then turn back on near his apartment after the murders? Why did the police find an ID belonging to one of the victims hidden at his parent’s house? His DNA was found at the murder scene on a knife sheath. Why did he meticulously clean his car with bleach inside and out shortly after traveling to his parent’s house? Right? Who does that? Who cleans their car with bleach? Have you? You only see people clean with bleach after a murder to hide the evidence. His professor said that he took a very noticeable interest in crime scene investigations, criminology, the minds of criminals, and particularly serial killers. He was seen putting his trash in the neighbor’s trash bin. Could be excused if it was a common thing to do. The DNA evidence could be inadmissible in court because of how the match was made, but you can’t deny that a match was made to this guy. For me, there are just too many coincidences to overlook. Even his own sister thinks he did it. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty in court. But, the court is not perfect. You know. Everyone knows O.J. did it.
I don’t think Kohberger did it. While there are a few coincidences there is no actual concrete proof that unequivocally points to him as guilty. The police case went cold immediately, there are things the police admits to withholding that could save him from this and that car is unbelievably common. They chose the most convenient scapegoat for the media to broadcast. He probably shouldn’t even be in jail right now with the lack of proof they actually have.
Agreed. The roommate knows more. She watched the person walk right by her, and she didn’t call the police. She asked a friend, at least 9 hours later to come over to check on HER roommates. She didn’t do that. Plus it was the guy who came over who called the cops.

The roommate who watched the suspect walk right past her, then never called the cops, is not telling the whole story. You don’t react at all, to an unknown person walking by your door at odark early? The person who called the cops 11 hours later, did not live at that house. How does no one in that house react? I think Brian is being set up by one of the friends of the roommates. @@shazanali692 They have 0 evidence that he actually did anything. It’s a well known drug house. It’s way more plausible that it was a drug deal gone wrong or some type of cartel “fix”. One of the girls had a super expensive brand new car. One of their previous roommates got busted for trafficing etc.
The DNA evidence they allegedly linked it to him with has already been thrown out.
There’s no way this guy has no connection to these people, then randomly decides to one night go in brutally massacre 4 of them, walk past an eye witness, leave them alive, all in like 6 minutes. He really just left a knife sheath and put the bloody knife in his pocket? While leaving no other trace of DNA or fiber evidence. The cellphone pings they claim to have are extremely inaccurate they’re like a 27 mile radius. The car they were looking for is 2 years older than his car. Not to mention, they got a warrant for something like 71tarabytes of data. Basically everything he’s ever done on a computer his whole life.
Meanwhile, the roommates allegedly didn’t hear 4 people being savagely murdered in a house thats so flimsy that blood can leak through to the outside. They call friends over to help clean up and then report their “friend” as unconscious.
As far as we know, and the media has reported some very inaccurate things, they don’t really have any plausible evidence that Bryan did anything other than had his cellphone turned off during the time of the murders which I can understand not looking great, but it’s also not real evidence of any wrongdoing.
Read the other comments and you’ll see wine drunk true crime women say things like “you can just tell it was him, he has that look” etc. Which is really messed up. Bryan has done everything to be extradited asap to exonerate himself to even wanting the house to remain intact. Now what kind of murderer knows they haven’t found any evidence in a place, but knows there could be some, and still wants it to be findable? ?
There’s something really fishy with the drug stuff the roommates, and the police response. I think those discrepancies are way bigger than anything with Bryan. He can’t get a fair trial there though. He’s had some rough times in his life and he seems like he’s really been doing better. If he is innocent, and I have a strong feeling that’s the case, this whole thing has ruined his life and stolen some of his best years.
I’ve talked with several people in the area and interviewed them on their thoughts, and we came to alot of those similar conclusions.
I’ve also studied spree/serial killers. I don’t ever recall a spree killing where they murder multiple people and then casually walk past one they could have just as easily taken out. Its very unlikely that would be the case.
We have 0 info on the victim’s text messages and other histories with anything and I believe if that were thoroughly looked through, that would give the real answers.
@@shazanali692 he’s being set up. The evidence so far is a single print. By the way, if he stabbed 4 to death, he’d have a lot of blood on him and it would be in his car. Also why did the roommate who allegedly saw him walk by, not call the cops? She never did. And it was a male friend who did, about 11 hours later.
