Maybe if Mexico got a little wealthier the influx of migrants would lessen.
It already has. Mexican migration has slowed to a trickle, it’s down by 90% from the early 2000s. Since 2012 more Mexicans are going back home than migrating to the U.S. The people you see at the border are mostly from Central American countries.
