If you want to achieve success in life, you need to surround yourself with high vibe people that inspire and elevate you to live in alignment with your highest self. We all need an empowering ecosystem – a group of positive, successful individuals that are focused on growing and expanding in every area of their lives. There is an old proverb that reads, “Show me your friends and I’ll tell you who you are.”
If you choose to surround yourself with negative people, not only will they drain your energy, but their negativity will also rub off on you. Alternatively, positive people are those that challenge and inspire you to grow and elevate your game. Are your friends holding you back?

Someone I had considered a friend conned me into getting caught up in a real estate scam. I did over a year in prison, and he got away scot free.

Great Advice, however sometimes is hard to found that type of people though.
Hi Stefan! What is your opinion on friends who aren’t necessarily “successful” but who are cheerleaders for you and are generally a good friend? Like they themselves are a bit depressed, very overweight, a little bit lost in life and a little unfulfilled with their own job.. etc.. HOWEVER, they are always thoughtful and supportive by giving you kind regards and compliments and advice, and always generally helpful and there for you when you need it? Like they are trustworthy, kind, and considerate, too. Will these sorts of friends drag you down or lift you up? Half the time I feel like they lift me up, and the other half of the time I feel they drag me down, so I’m a bit torn on how much of my time I feel I can spend with them..
