EU is throwing money at Ukraine. EU taxpayers are suffering heavily because of that war. Energy is up. Food is up. Rent is up. Home ownership costs the earth. We need the war in Ukraine to end and to end now. We need Russia and Ukraine oil gas and food back on the market.

The EU hardly believes in free trade. It’s already put tarrifs on Chinese EV’s because German manufacturers can’t compete (partly) because energy costs are too high due to the EU’s made net zero policies. Those same policies are also killing what’s left of the UK’s energy intensive industry as well.
Well the main reason for the lack of competitiveness ist not high energy cost but Chinas insane subsidy on electric cars. It destroys the fundamental capitalistic idea
