The big 3 has gone up 6% every year even during recessions and COVID. They even took the Tax Payers money years ago closed US Factories and fled to Mexico for cheaper labor. If they increase higher than 6% and don’t come back to the US they need to be audited and taxed for the Tax Payers return of funds. They sell their vehicles on every Continent except Antarctica. We have other companies that build in the US like Toyota and others. Tariffs are a great idea to build the US and make us competitive for products made in America again.
guess what, they reopen the factories in the US and employ americans, while also lowering prices as transport will be lower and energy is going to be more plentiful and also lowering prices.
