Voters in Ireland are choosing a new government on Friday, as the country enjoys a huge budget surplus. Its economy relies on Ireland being the home to many US tech and pharmaceutical giants, bringing high wages. But for many working-class Irish, the basics in life are missing.

Europe simply got to many immigrants. those that come from country’s where there is peace and where they are safe should be send back.
Wow . John Fitzgerald is full of it
Smug little….he needs to read Swift’s Modest Proposal while he ‘s sitting cosy in Trinners..
Unbelievable
before seeing this I just watched a roadside interview in Dublin with dozens of immigrants and literally a fraction of them were employed
@@jordancarlin9687 highly skilled is the best part, left me in stitches
☪ O believers! Do not enter the homes 🏠of the Prophet without permission ˹and if invited˺ for a meal 🍔, do not ˹come too early and˺ linger until the meal is ready. But if you are invited, then enter ˹on time˺🕒 . Once you have eaten, then go on your way 🏃, and do not stay for casual talk. Such behaviour is truly annoying 😡to the Prophet, yet he is too shy to ask you to leave. But Allah is never shy of the truth. And when you ˹believers˺ ask his wives 🧕 for something, ask them from behind a barrier. This is purer for your hearts and theirs. And it is not right for you to annoy the Messenger of Allah, nor ever marry his wives after him. This would certainly be a major offence in the sight of Allah. << Qur'an 33:53 >>🌙

It doesn’t matter, things won’t change, the same parties have run the country since the beginning of the state, and the only alternative is a party that would break the country. Not one party’s agenda matches the people’s wants on immigration or housing
Even the ultra nationalists want us out of the EU.
Literally no party is in line with the people, it’s insane.
John Fitzgerald, Trinity College is talking thru his hairy rear end. “The bulk of immigrants ..” are here for the freebies ..” .. and freebies only.
Our Minister for (dis) Integration, roderic o gorman, sent out a tweet (IN 8 LANGUAGES only), inviting all and sundry to “own door accommodation, passport, money ..”
Prof John Fitzgerald is a research professor at Trinity. Lols .. Really ? And he can get something – every dog on the street already knows – so wrong. How did Prof John Fitz get past the interview stage ??!!
In lreland there are 14.700 lrish citizens men women and children homeless that’s not counting the adults living at home with their parents because they can’t afford a roof of their own no resources for healthcare no resources for education no resources housing no resources for transportation FACT
Hit 15,000 today a new high but I don’t personally know if they are all Irish citizens or not. Nevertheless it’s far too many and I’m very fortunate to just about be able to afford the apartment I live in. However as a revert which is generally a personal or private matter but I faced some discrimination or hatred this year and lost my job simply because of my faith. Unfortunately they were an ex client who poached me, promised the moon & stars so I decided to join after two months. Amazing how peoples minds work, how their true colours are portrayed out of bigotry and ignorance when they find out something personal or private about you that they have zero knowledge of. I’m lucky I did not become another hidden homeless a person in our country.
4.2% population growth last year which was almost entirely driven by immigration according to Eurostat.
Meanwhile, Ireland suffers from the worst housing crisis in Europe.
So yes, people are very very annoyed by the stupid levels of immigration
It’s still one of the best countries in the world to live and bring up a family.
Housing is without doubt the core issue. The next government must make it priority number one. This is connected to the cost of living.
The economy also needs to be refocused, as Trump is going to be calamitous for global trade. Ireland needs to encourage more successful homegrown businesses. Taxes need to remain low.
Immigration is only an issue for a very small, but loud group.
Israel is right.
@@antonralph6947 Israel is far right.
Wow the last paragraph! Oh how I love my gaslighting in morning ❤
Despite immigration making headlines and dominating political discussion over the last year, fewer than half of people (42%) say it will be a ‘very influential’ factor when voting, 30% say it is somewhat influential while 16% of people say it is of ‘minimal importance’.
@@rod9829 well we’ll see how many anti-immigrant politicians land in the Dáil. I’m talking about the violent, far-right bigoted racists, which I believe there are not that many in Ireland.
Immigration has been a mostly positive for Ireland. Services are lagging because of demand. The focus needs to be on improving and investing in services. We would be a lot poorer without immigrants.
We vote for the puppets today, but the puppeteers are in the IF$C, the Iri$h Financia£ $€rvic€$ Centre….a £oca£ branch of ye o£de City of £ondon/Wa££ $tr€€t axis of globa£ pi££ag€ idiot$ burning down the planet to fuel their race to Mars, deity of war and the eponymoU$ marKKKet of WA$P supremacists uber a££€$.
The pronunciation he done of the 2 government parties name was 100% perfect considering it’s in the Irish language.
Keeping our culture and believes is not far right God bless Ireland
Immigration and greed has completely ruined this country.
Landlordism is the problem…greed. they charge top dollar because of desperate people trying to avoid homelessness. Migration isn’t the problem, greedy landlords are.
This useless government is the problem
@@KingMob. No. The more brought in the less housing there is.
Landlordism is definitely a problem but so is migration. Our population grew by 3% last year and had the highest asylum seeker applications by capita in Europe – this is definitely a problem too
Migration is the entire problem legal and illegal.
You call out the landlords and big business owners but you refuse to see that the importation of countless culturally and racially alien men and women only serves to benefit that very same faction?
Increased supply of labour whilst the demand remains relatively static = lower wages.
Foreigners who are happy to accept poorer conditions than their Irish co-workers due to the low standards in their hole countries = poor working conditions slowly becoming the norm.
Drastically increased demand for housing whilst the supply rises at an excruciatingly slow pace = higher housing and rent prices.
Why should we feel compelled to build blocks of monotonous flats all across our beautifully verdant land only to accommodate foreigners who care only for their own financial gain?
Who does mass immigration benefit but the large landlords, property developers, big business owners and the foreigners themselves?
Mass immigration serves only the uber-wealthy race traitors and their lackeys in government.
1:53 what he is saying is true but it’s government policy to muddy the waters between asylum seekers and legal immigrants, asylum seekers generally do not work and receive government assistance, legal immigrants do work and contribute generally speaking. But immigration is not an obligation, too many people are coming here, until housing and infrastructure can service the current population it is lunacy to have more people coming in.
We need to vote this treacherous government out before they destroy the country altogether.
All the illegal migrents unvetted undocumented criminals comeing in getting everything handed to them for free own can’t get anything they put before irish people illegal migrents they no right here they illegal migrents
Irish number 1 economic refugees living everywhere in the world now they complain about immigration how hypocrits Irish
At least ask the British person reporting to learn how to pronounce Irish political parties names correctly
Vote for the party that will deport all migrants
What a load of b@11@x
Ireland should look at UK and France and the problems unchecked immigration has caused.
This is a far greater and more diverse issue than what your limited knowledge covers.
And that’s OK mate. But we’re not the UK or france.
Irish homes belong to the Irish people, all migrants get out of Ireland North & South
The riots were cause after a woman and three children were left in critical conditions after a knife attack bye a emigrant you wer sure to leave that part out
I just got back from the polling station and didn’t give ANY vote to FFG/Greens. Hopefully someone else will get in, but I doubt it.
Same here, not 1 vote for any of those traitors.
Same plan as my self
Who is in the tents then
The one in the election poster thumbnail doesn’t look Irish- still pushing the globalist/white replacement narrative, msm?
Very clever the way they conflate Illegal immigration and asylum seekers with legal migration… If you disagree with first point, your then accused’s of racism and opposing the latter.
LIES -COMMIES ISLAMISTS AND TRAITORS- ARE THE ISSUE – 1.5 non third world scammers UNINVITED CHAOS
You are a disgrace 1.5 mln low skill third world and their villages – demand homes as you see A BLACK ON THE BILLBOARD-Islam and their satanic verses

33 she said. Another joker
Well I did my bit today by not voting for the clowns.
I love my country and want it back ❤️
The most corrupt country in Europe. I’ll be flagging this for false reporting. The riots were over children being stabbed.
In one sense this will be the last Irish election, democratic one that is. Each country that makes the region overflow with immigration, not only takes away the locals identity but it dilutes democracy dramatically. How do bad govt stay in power? Immigration.
Haha no the riots where due to an Algerian man stabbing children , that created the anger which led to idiots looting and rioting. But it was mainly due to an Algerian who for his entire time here is on social welfare and shows his appreciation by attacking young children
