this man was literally a doctor … people we’re supposed to trust. he basically just wasted years of his life committing this disgusting crime
What a spectacle! Afaik this case seems to have ended with the bad man getting a proper verdict. However, the public spectacle surrounding it and the Judge’s constant references to her personal life has no purpose in finding the correct sentence. The emotional stops for effect and tossing of papers are meritless and does not have a place in a judicial system that should focus on weighing arguements fairly and not only hearing all sides to a story but also giving the impression of having done so so that people can trust it.
I would be repulsed by this behavior in any case in which the evidence didn’t so clearly show the man to be guilty.
Those of you who suggest this one should be president or whatever, think of what you are saying about where you want your country to go…

I just have a question. Did the judge reject a plea? Bc the part of pleaing that serves both the state and defendant u get a better deal. He got life in prison so I’m curious what’s the point of pleading if ull never get out . Like was 1oo plus years a better deal? He cant get the death penalty. I was watching the Nasir sexual abuse case on YouTube .the survivors were able to make statements. Is so incredibly difficult I’m so glad they had other friends family and other survivors to Give them support. I wish I could be anonymous unfortunately I guess I’m not I guess it’s all comes with shame. As a child of incest it took me until I was married and had a child that I was able to come out and say the truth. I spent many many years and therapy. Dealt with pacifically children and adults have been sexually molested. It is so incredibly difficult cuz has I was a younger guy thought it was my fault that I could have stopped it but when you’re five years old you don’t even know what it is to be able to come out as a child R feh so many reasons.. even hard for me to say the words. Thank you for the Dodge thank you for the women and men who have spoken out about this horrific crime cuz it affects you for your entire life and different ways yes cuz I had a lot of therapy absolutely have I been able come to some sort of understanding realizing it wasn’t my fault and a lot of memories that I I won’t go into. Thank you your honor for validating. victims I can’t say anymore. I had an incredible therapist for many many years that dealt with this type of abuse. It’s very difficult to talk about . on a public forum I give the women. tremendous courage to come forward.

To the amazing women and young girls, parents, lawyers and the judge thank you for releasing this court sessions, it was therapy for me who I never reported what happened to me for years til I had the physical and mental strength to stop it. But I never ever wanted to tell my family so they wont feel like they failed me, with the love of Jesus Christ and faith in Him I found my healing, I was able to find a good men who I dont feel afraid of and trust him, now we are about to have 3 children and I am a lioness who will make sure her kids are safe from any monster like Nasser. May the Lord Jesus help all this victims now survivors to over come the pain, guiltless and fear is left as scares in the souls so they can truly heal to become advocates loud voices to many silent voices like mine so justices can be serve. May all of you find peace and happiness again.

His lawyer is a woman and it just disgusts me that she chose this case.
I am talking the BAR exam in a few months and I can say, is not that simple. People demonize lawyers for defending criminals, but the Constution itself grant them the right for defense. Someone has to do it. And if is for the money, I don’t see anything wrong. I remember my Contracts professor, who is a hardcore activist scholar on feminism and practices on family law told us about her cases in which she defended the fathers, who were real jerks. She said at the beggining she wanted to screw her client, but that would be unethical. Why would she take the case such as this? Well, she has an autoimune desease that made her lose many jobs and keeps getting hospital bills, for instance 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️. Law is not a black and white issue.
You quite clearly don’t know how attorneys operate. She could have been court appointed in which she wouldn’t have a choice. Or if she was a private attorney, if he is paying what her rate is, then she will represent him, that is HER JOB. A criminal defense lawyer’s job, indeed an ATTORNEY’S JOB is to make sure that a client’s rights are defended. Their job isn’t simply to garner a “not guilty” plea for someone. In matters like this, where they know there is little chance for a not guilty outcome, a defense attorney will try to convince them to take the plea deal and try to fight for a lighter sentence. I don’t think his counsel really did that, they did their due diligence as attorneys, as dictated by the licensing authority that allows them to practice law, and represented him in court. Disgusted? HAH! Don’t buy into sensationalism and what’s portrayed on television. Attorneys work day and night and must fight for their clients as best they can. They know what cases they’ll likely have to defend when they took the job. Don’t act like they’re okay with what he did.
It’s a defense attorneys duty to serve for clients in defense no matter the circumstance, it’s unbiased. That woman clearly feels hurt, but she’s doing her job.
