What is thought to be the world’s largest underwater cave has been discovered off the eastern coast of Mexico in the Yucatan Peninsula – and it is around 350km-long.
A team of archaeological divers found human bones and pottery from thousands of years ago. Scientists are hoping the discovery could help piece together a clearer understanding of the ancient Maya civilisation.

Al Jazeera is a foreign media company based here in the US so they’ll use meters, km, etc. and if your talking about scientific stuff you probably should use meters and kms

Yeah, we all know that Mexico has very beautiful scenery, explorations, forest and beaches — both discovered or yet not found — but the problem it’s the selfish and unfair government that leads to people corruption.
I would love to stay and live in Mexico for awhile — in someway — but seeing poor kids and adults break my heart!

I give that cave the largest but not the deepest, since deepest in the world has bren found in Republic of Macedonia, near its capital city Skopje in the Canyon called Matka, the cave is called cave Vrelo.
