Gambian President Barrow on course for big win: Early results

Gambian President Adama Barrow has been declared the winner of Saturday’s election, in what he and his supporters are celebrating as a landslide. Partial results from most districts show the incumbent president well ahead of his main competitor, Ousainou Darboe. However, Darboe and two other candidates have said that they would not accept the results.
