Saudi Aramco’s Jeddah oil depot hit by Houthi attack

Yemen’s Houthi rebels have launched a series of attacks on targets in Saudi Arabia. No injuries have been reported but oil storage facilities have been damaged in a barrage of drones and at least one ballistic missile. The attacks come just days after the US sent patriot missile interceptors to Saudi following urgent requests from the kingdom. Saudi Arabia proposes ceasefire plan to Yemen’s Houthi rebels

Saudi Arabia has announced a plan to offer its rivals in Yemen’s long-running war a nationwide ceasefire under the auspices of the United Nations, the kingdom’s foreign minister said. US Yemen envoy urges response on ceasefire plan with Houthis

A spokesman for the Houthi rebels in Yemen says they have rejected a United States plan for a nationwide ceasefire, insisting it only represents the views of Saudi Arabia and the United Nations. Saudi fighter jet crashes in northern Yemen’s al-Jawf province

A series of air raids in northern Yemen by the Saudi-led coalition has killed at least 31 civilians. The attacks brought a rebuke from the UN humanitarian chief for Yemen, who called it “shocking”. The raids took place after Saudi Arabia confirmed one of its planes had crashed in the same region. Houthi rebels claim to have shot the plane down.
