At least 10 people have been killed in an attack on a military camp in central Mali. The attack took place in Sevare near a military camp that hosts Malian forces, UN peacekeepers and Russian Wagner fighters. Three simultaneous explosions hit the Malian city early on Saturday, but a UN peacekeeping force in the area says it repelled the assault. The International Monetary Fund has slashed the growth outlook for cash-strapped Pakistan, forecasting the South Asian country’s fragile economy will grow just 0.5 percent this year, down from 6 percent in 2022.
