The Israeli forces have stormed the largest medical facility in Khan Younis in southern Gaza. Nasser hospital has been under siege for weeks. These are scenes moments after it was shelled overnight. Israeli soldiers then launched their raid, forcing everyone out, including patients in intensive care and families sheltering from Israeli attacks. Israel has issued a statement saying it is conducting a “precise and limited” raid on Nasser Hospital. Since Israel’s announcement of its intention to expand the ground invasion to Rafah city, we’ve been seeing a surge in bombardment, a significant intensity in scale and level of destruction. In central Gaza, a large number of people were reportedly killed after the bombing of a residential area.
