Kim Yo Jong, the powerful sister of North Korea’s leader, says whether her country uses the Pacific Ocean as its “shooting range” depends on the United States. South Korea responds to missile launches from North Korea

North and South Korea have engaged in an exchange of missiles in the latest escalation of tensions. North Korea fired more than 17 from nine locations on Wednesday morning. South China Sea dispute: Philippines wants Chinese ships to leave reef

The Philippines is urging Beijing to recall hundreds of fishing vessels that it said were spotted near the Spratly Islands in the South China Sea.
